<Chapter 3>

Gauri was roaming around the room in grumpy face. She still couldn't find out what is lying in this man's head and what is her position in her life? She was still disappointed the way he ignores her totally when he is in art studio. He is a caring person otherwise but lives in his own shell. He made sure she had all the comforts but doesn't seem to understand what she really wants. She went to change, came back, switched on the television (he got for her) to watch some songs to lighten up her mood still nothing seems to be helping. There was a romantic number going on and she was just lost in her own thoughts. She didn't even notice him coming in and was deeply lost in thoughts with just her eyes fixed on the television.

He was noticing her with his eyes fixed on her while she just noticed. She was too irked and decided not to respond anything. Just then she noticed a raunchy number playing on TV. She got irritated with that too and switched off the television with a sigh and went on to stare at the moon outside the window. She wasn't in the mood to talk to him. She remembered the pandit's words.. He blessed her to have 2 babies (a son and a daughter). Jhanvi's face lightened up on hearing it while she was struggling to control her expression then. Nobody knew her inner turmoil not even the man she married. She felt familiar warmth near her all of sudden.

"Gauri..

"Hmm.. She didn't turn

He wrapped her arms around her hesitantly without knowing what she might feel. These small things he had been doing ever since they legalized their marriage. But he grew more hesitant than before. Earlier he used to do it effortlessly while faking it also, but now he wanted to make sure she is comfortable completely until he made any pass. He thought he would give more time for their already sour relationship to mend. But in a way, he was also growing more impatient which he would not reveal.

Gauri felt his arms around her. She was taken aback for a moment but her already sulken mood didn't help it. She gently moved away from his arms which left him surprised. Omkara felt disappointed a little. She is indeed angry at him.

"Gauri. Tum naraz ho kya mujhpe? His face was short

"Nahi.. main kyun naraz hongi aapse?

"Kyunki main tumse apne dil ki baat nahi bataraha hoon

"Hum pati patni hai, sirf sarkaari khagaz ki mutabiq. Asli to hai hi nahi. Isliye main kaise ummed rak sakthi hoon, aapse? Aur jo kuch bhi hua humhaari beech mein, iski baad mujhe pata bhi nahi ki sab teek hoyega ki nahi Her pain reflected in her words.

"Aise kyun keh rahi ho Gauri. Hum sirf naam ki pati patni nahi hain.. We are legally married couple. Mujhe laga tha main toda sa time doon.. tumhe bhi apne aap ko bhi.. taaki we will get over all those bitter happenings between us and have a fresh start. Issliye toda sa distance maintain kar raha tha. Taki tum pressurized na feel karo"

"Main kya chahthi hoon, kya nahi chahthi hoon.. isski bare mein aapko bahut kuch pata hai..shayad isliye mujhe pooche bina aap hi sab kuch kar dete ho" Her tone was sarcastic.

"Nahi Gauri. Aisa nahi hai.. Are you disappointed with me?" His face was reflecting her sullen face.

"Nahi. Nahi.. She turned back again

"Gauri.. He held her hand. She again pulled her hand away. Omkaara wasn't liking this gesture at all. Many a times he had pushed her out from him during fakemance, but that never pricked. But her one gesture of disinterest pricked him inside. He felt he can't take that.

"Please Gauri.." He tried to hold her hand again. She was in no mood to budge. She again took it away and moved away from him towards the window frame. His hurt turned into adamancy to have her in his arms no matter what. She can't move from him like this. He can explain whatever she wants but not take this.

He locked her with himself tight from behind. He leaned on her shoulders and kissed her. Gauri was surprised a lot. He would never do anything on force, not after the MU's were cleared. She tried to free herself a little so that she could ask what's up with him, but he won't listen. It was the first time he ever kissed her in senses and he was going on as if he couldn't stop. Gauri's senses jolted a little by a bite near her ears. Her cheeks were starting to flush and face getting heated up. She still managed to pull words out of her mouth

"Omkaaraji.. Please chodiye humhe She was struggling to cope with his warm mouth on her skin.

"Bolo tum mujhe nahi chahthi ho.. main chod doonga tumhe He knew his victorious territory.

Gauri can't even remotely say no. Given the loser that she is when it comes to her feelings for this man. Even though he had been absolute monster sometimes, she couldn't get off from him and he kind of knew it.

Omkaara's hold grew tighter at the hesitancy she showed in telling those words.

"Agar Aap ki dil mein mere liye pyaar hai, to meri paas aayiyega. Aise nahi." She thought he grew lusty over the moment.

He stopped for a while "Are you thinking main sirf lust ki wajah se tumhaari saath aisa kar raha hoon?" His face reflected disgust.

She saw his face and knew that she hit a wrong note. He withdrew from her and went near the frame of the bed. "Ek baat khaan kholke sun lo. I have never touched a woman, without love for her in my heart. Main aisa ghatiya harkat karne wala nahi hoon. Tum nahi chahthi ho na. I won't come near you.." He was staring outside the window after moving away, at the dark grey skies. His feelings refused to budge but he needed to remain in control.

Gauri's eyes popped out. Did he just say he loves her? Really? She wanted to hear it once more. He had been standing with heaving breath near the window. This man.. why can't he say it to her straight on her eyes??

She went near him and touched his heated up surface. He turned immediately as a involuntary response. "Aap kya keh rahe the?" She wanted to confirm what she heard.

"Main keh raha hoon ki main tumse pyaar karta hoon"

Her doe shaped eyes reflect disbelief in what she was hearing.

"To mujhe kyun nahi batayi"

"Bataonga to bhi tum kya sochegi. Abhi abhi kaha than aa. Ki main desperate hoon.. aisa hi kuch sochegi He was still angry at her for misunderstanding his love as lust.

"Nahi.."

"Kya nahi"

She didn't know how to explain. She was waiting for this moment all along, and when she heard it finally all she wanted is to cherish it. Without second thought, she hugged him burying her head in to chest. Omkaara was taken aback at this sudden change in her behavior. She never hugged him voluntarily till date. She was always cautious but now she is hugging him with all her heart. He couldn't control and hugged her tight. "agar main nahi chahungi to mere paas nahi aaoge.. abhi abhi to kehrahe the. Bool gaye ho? Her voice was teasing.

"Sach mein tum nahi chahthi ho? ab tumhaari paas rahoon?"

"Nahi.."

Omkaara was shocked

"Hamesha meri paas raho" Gauri said with dreamy eyes.

Omkaara pulled her for a wild kiss. After sometime later, he released her for a short while. He was speaking in a husky voice near her ears.

"Jab main nahi tha.. tu mujhe miss kar rahi thin aa.. aise bhi kya kiya tune yaad satane ke liye?

"aap ko anika di ne bataya than aa?"

"sshh... batao mujhe kya kar rahi thi"

"Wo..wo" Gauri was stammering.. Omkaara pressed her waist to slam her on him once more.. "Batao Gauri He was growing impatient to hear her answer.

"Main..aapki shirt pehenke so rahi thi.." Gauri face turned beetroot red.

Omkaara was kissing her at a passionate rage after hearing her answer. "To abhi pehno" He started pulling off his shirt. Her weak refusal didn't stand a chance. He ended up making her wear his shirt.

Gauri was looking him with a flustered expression whilst he could not wait to take over his precious possession. It ended up in a passionate night for the once estranged love birds..
