Glad you made this post ! As a Omkara fan , I cringe everytime I watch DBO. Only Gul could make a mockery of such a good looking pair. Sorry to say this but Gauri and her OTT antics drive me nuts . Do we need a goof ball opposite a dignified character like Omkara ? Shrenu is a brilliant actress and very pretty , so it's a pity that Gauri's character does not do any justice to her abilities . Don't get me started on the bad makeup , loud clothes and heavy jewellery , Gauri looked like a Christmas tree before And now she has been transformed into a silly boy !

Only thing I could understand after watching DBO is that Gul was not prepared , channel told them to make a spin off, be cause of OmRu 's popularity as characters and actors both, Gul jumped on the opportunity without doing any homework

Gauri is a half baked character which has not been planned properly

There are so many loopholes in the show

I liked the way Gauri Om were married , I thought it would go humara DIL aapke pass way , Om would accept her , Instead they made her chulbul :/

The comic angle doesn't suit Om's character IMO

And I may offend some but Shrenu is not convincing as a boy, she is a girl in boys clothes thats it and the voice modulation is very irritating

Another proof that DBO has been created with out much preparation is Rumya . they still haven't figured out what to do with them and that's why they are missing from the screen

I mean seriously Gul scrapped Ishana some 6months back. She & Harneet had enough time to get a good love track for Omkara. Was it that difficult for them. After six months of waiting this is Wat we get this stupid Chulbul nonsense. Many Fans on this forum are Infact enjoying the track and are saying it will go on for 3 months. They r comparing it to some Korean dramas and all 😆 .
Finally Omkara will realise that he is Gay and so will fall in love with Chulbul I guess 🤣 . This will be Omkaras unique love story enjoy it guys .

Exactly Shrenu is such a pretty actress and they have changed her into a boy. Wanted to See Omkara mesmerised by her when he sees her. But here something else is only going on and some people are enjoying it.
CVs please end this track soon. Let Omkara know Gauris truth. Jhanvi can still keep her as there employee come on OM has lots of job openings.

We don't want a Korean Comedy Show, we want a serious intense Love story for Omkara.

@ -lla- glad u made this post. A lot of fans on Guls Insta are requesting her to end the Chulbul track. Hope they end it soon before they loose the viewers interest.
All this is really disappointing and I have read in one of the forum posts that this track is going to go on for atleast 3 months. 😡

Dont get me wrong I love OmRu a lot and waited for months and months to see their tracks and their love stories. Then they introduce this bizarre angle for Om. (which I think has merit, but don't know how they will handle it) and Ru's love story is totally MIA! So I have to agree with "Sunrise". The channel told Gul to do a spin off coz the brothers were popular and fans were making demands. Even after months of no real track for either Om or Rudra, they were STILL not prepared for this demand. So they quickly came up with a good cliche to work with. That is pretty much it. Even this idea of turning Sumo into an NB was all part of their lazy and unplanned writing. They just don't know what to do, so think of something randomly and then introduce a new angle. Hardly any planning seems to be going into their storylines, be it IB or DBO.

I find DBO entertaining right now. But for how long that feeling will last is anyone's guess!

Even I was asking the same what's next, yes yesterday's episode is funny and I loved Om's expressions and Om isn't shown like a fool he is suspecting chulbul then what's next ok if you don't have creativity to write equals story then atleast go for a simple love story clear the misunderstanding I am sure listening that he will try to give a chance to their relationship and as he isn't obssesed with naam khaandaan stuff and he isn't the person who will look down at a person if he is illiterate he will think about the relationship show a simple and slow love story instead of this comedy track. 😆

I am amused Gul got a girl who will match Shivay not Om. Like I said in AT Love stories have misunderstandings like Shivika have misunderstandings of Daksh, chip . Rumya had that Romi and love angel tracks with basic crux of the story. But Om's story has only misunderstandings not crux.


And I am sure Gul PH and writers don't care about DBO. Writer of the show is only promoting IB she was concerned about IB's promos no tweet on DBO only SP wants this show. Gul only released one promo and being the producer of the show she wasn't there in press conference of the show sums up everything that she is least bothered about show

Gul is definitely trolling Omkara fans lol, Omkara losing hia smile and softness, Gauri is like the opposite of everything people ever asked for, SwetKara is happening though in a weird way, Swetlana is called a buzu rg when they never mentioned that before lol, Om doubting himself if he is gay, fulfilling every single cliche with Om in the first two weeks when usually in other shows they are spread over different tracks. Looks a personal vendetta to me for asking her for an FL or the abuse that couple fans gave her and taunting her for her love for cliche and bad boys.
