Lemme make one point clear I don't think anyone from the fandom wants them as end game. But there is a possible intense story hidden there. like Mandy said in her comment, it's not ishqbaazi, it's nafratbaazi. When people say they like SwetKara they necessarily don't mean that they will make a great couple. Swetlana is Omkara's father's mistress who can fall to any length to achieve her aim of avenging her father's death, even sleep with the man who is responsible for her father's death. Omkara is a determined man who can sacrifice anything for his mother's happiness, even get engaged to his father's mistress. When they clash, it is all or nothing. Swetlana wants to destroy Om's family and she will stop at nothing and Om won't allow anyone to harm his family and he will go to any length for the same. That is takkar ki nafratbaazi. The perfect protagonist- antagonist equation. And this game they are playing, trying to outsmart one another and the venom they hold for each other is interesting. Om is forced to deal with his emotions of disgust and repulsion and hold Swetlana's hands with a smile and it is not easy. Even the flirty words are underlined with intense hatred. And Om thinks he have her when she is far ahead of him. The predator letting the prey think that it is the predator. And if this isn't an appealing story I must have a really bad taste. And this is all from canon facts and not headcanon 😆

Bu...bu..but...that's not the point of the show, is it? Was the show originally titled Nafratbaaz? 😕 I'm been away from IB so I have heavily missed some details but isn't the premise of the parent show about the Ishqbaazi of three brothers? Like there was this show on Sony whose entire purpose was that the FL hated the ML and she wanted revenge from him. Did I miss a few hidden promos of Ishqbaaz which had promised the same in regards to Omkara?

Well if you go by that the tag line of the parent show was "Ek doosre ke zaroori hisse hai...yeh ek kahani ke teen kisse hai" How many parts of the story do you see in the parent show now? Baaton pe mat jaa. 😆lol whoever said anything about Swetlana being the FL or this show being dedicated to SwetKara ki takkar ki nafratbaazi, people here are very patient about screen space, they watched a show for nine months for 2 min ka screenspace of their favourites. They can surely be content with the 2 min insight on their favourite hate story too and RiKara's ishqbaazi is already going on isn't it? Or was I watching a different show? And no story can survive without a conflict and an antagonist. 😆

Baji itna offend kyun horahi ho? 😆 I'm just trying to clear my own thoughts so I can understand where all this SvetKara love is coming from. Is that wrong? Because the impression I've gotten thus far is basically:

RiKara Sucks
SvetKara Awesome
Ditch RiKara and Show SvetKara

I just wanted to know what I'm missing in terms of SvetKara ke I don't understand how it can ignite such passionate response from Omkara fans.

Ab you guys should've made it clear pehle hi na ke you want SvetKara alongside RiKara. As you said just "2 mins insight of their favorite hate story". Pehle bol dete toh mereko confusion na hoti na! Main itne dino se soch rahi thi ke pata nahin aisa kya miss kar rahi hoon main SvetKara ki Nafratbaazi mein that these fans are ready to ditch a legitimate Ishqbaazi of Omkara for this Nafratbaazi. Buss behen, clear hogaya. You equally love RiKara, actually you love RiKara more cuz you only want 2 min insight to SvetKara and baqi ka 18 min you'll give happily to RiKara. Good...next time start from this. Warna confusion hojati hai mujh jaise typical, not very good at reading subtleties, boring TRP aunty type audience ko ke maybe I'm shipping the wrong thing. Bhayee ye toh zyadati hai...ek toh I came here for some serious, educated discussion about things which I can't comprehend but so many people around me find it so appealing that they can't have enough of it. Discussions toh aise hi hoti hai na ke kuch tum kaho, kuch hum kahen...sukh dukh sada mil ke sahen. But yahan toh scope hi nahin I'm not here to fight, wallah! But I'm being called prejudiced here when I haven't even said anything. Before saying something I need to understand stuff naa..but no one is helping me understand. Then when I assume things based on the impression I get, toh ilzaam lagta hai ke I haven't done my research when so many people have already given points about how to better the story. Which, really, made me think ke poora SS toh SvetKara hi khaa jaate hain..they basically are the story at this point but still people have given golden points on how to make the story better? All of this I WANTED to say but yahan toh har koi mujhe chup karane pe laga hai (looking at you Ri -_-)

Seeing the number of pages here filled with long essays, I thought this is where my very basic questions will be answered ke why do some fans want a scheming, murdering vamp, who has been one of the root causes of the Lead's emotional trauma, to get more and more footage because only she is the point of conflict in his story and nothing else in his life matters because apparently character development and points of conflict changing with the journey is a concept not applied here. But no one even let me get to this point, shut up bol ke darwaza dikha diya

Acha ji..chalte hain phir. Aapko aapke opinions which you can't even properly explain within the context of new developments mubarak ho. Hum bechare illiterate, prejudiced, TRP tropes ke chaske lene wale gareeb log confusion mein hi apna time guzaar denge ke why can't highly intellectual fans understand the simple idea of physical harassment does not equal to intensity and that there's no "takkar" ka anything between a Sach Ka Pujari and a Murderer.

Only thing I could understand after watching DBO is that Gul was not prepared , channel told them to make a spin off, be cause of OmRu 's popularity as characters and actors both, Gul jumped on the opportunity without doing any homework
