Gul , this was an absolutely pathetic move on your part. Turning Omkara into Shivaay. Don't tell me that in business you have to be ruthless. I am an honest businessman's daughter and I have an idea on how things go.
If to defeat Tej Singh Oberoi , Omkara is becoming him then please do not give any preachy dialogues to him any longer. I loved Omkara for his difference. For having a darkness and yet striving to be good, for knowing cruelty yet being kind.
Omkara was the one character that stood and now he is no different. Omkara and Gauri are no different. Shivaay slapped a note stack on Anika's cheek, Anika broke his windshield. Om threw money at Gauri and Gauri crushed his car. Tell me who should I be awarding A+ here?
Dil Bole Oberoi is Ishqbaaz repeat and nothing more. Powerhouses of talent like Kunal and Shrenu will make the lack luster characters come alive but even they cannot make up for the pathetic storyline.
Disappointed beyond words
PS : Sorry for subjecting you to these rants but I had to vent. Omkara was my fictional favorite after a long time and he just died a spectacular death.

Agree...it was deja vu today !! Omkara apparently couldn't exist as a hero the way he was...that is their logic...so turn him into ASR-Maan-Shivay whatever...

And to tell you truth...Kunal is not convincing me in this type of a role. Sad.

Here I was thinking I was a pariah. Glad to see there are people who agree with me.
Omkara was so much more than the usually seen characters and now Gul has reduced to him to so low.

Completely agree. I can understand Omkara has turned cold but he throwing money on Gauri was just not acceptable. I expected a very good and diff love story for Omkara. I expected Oms Girl to be educated and sophisticated but Gul had to repeat a character like Khushi. Also there is a Scene of Gauri throwing water on OM. So wats new on this love track.

When the second promo came it was quite clear that Omkara and Gauri would have same story like shivaay anika
But I didn't expected Gul to use same scenes too
Seriously Gauri and Omkara had their first meet just like shivaay anika
And if you see Gauri is anika part 2
Just like anika had evil bua Gauri has evil Chachi
I know many would say its too early to reach on a conclusion but I think we should just accept that there's nothing NEW

You speak my mind! My thoughts exactly on what I just saw today! Omkara was my favourite character because he was flawed but at the same time he was just another Angry young man! But now he is just another Shivaay Singh Oberoi, another Arnav singh raizada and the list could go on!

Although It's just first epi, but I was so disheartened!!! This is totally Shivika, take 2. In IB, they are recreating the scenes and herevis DBO, the same things arw happening and guess what!"! Gauri's brother is too disabled.

What Gul wants to show? That it's show to bring other people on streets if your family is nasty? How come a girl love such a man ever? Om aisa karke logo ka haay lega.

Lol i just created a post on same topic. I wish i had seen this one first. I was just hugely disappointed at the precap. I thought gul won't change much of om's character since his character is what his fans love about him. But she butchered it so badly. Remember om's words that he wanted to become shivaay? After seeing the precap i was like congratulations you have become exactly like him.

Did not see the promo as I watch on Hotstar but if that's the case then why do we have to hope at all. Om deserved someone different , someone challenging but instead we have a slightly more louder version of Anika (Man I have not in real life encountered sisters who are so similar that they are one and the same)
