DV review

What's hot, what's not on TV's newest channel

Dharam Veer Then came Dharam Veer, the kind of overbudgeted show that makes you wish they'd just played a digitally restored version of the over-the-top Dharmendra-Jeetendra spectacular. A show about two brothers -- set in what the production house, Sagar Arts, could ambiguously just refer to as 'kingly' times -- this is an inane drama with very impressive production values and absolutely horrendous acting.

Guys, just it being a period piece doesn't mean we have to recreate the sensibilities of our hackneyed historicals. This is one to avoid.

initially when i read abt dv.. i was shocked..that people didn't like it.. but then i read the person's reviews on all the shows of ndtv...
my conclusion- he/she is jealous of ndtv imagine(just like some people hate aishwarya only bcos they r not as beautiful as her) thats all... forget his/her review.. not worth reading

But thatz totally negative! Itz jus been one day...and eople are drawing conclusions! "horrendous acting"..wat was that? Wait till Rajat enter today..then we'll tell them whoz the Best Actor n whoz "horrendous" 😃

The page is full of negative, insulting remars there...one shud not draw conclusions after watching only one serial! The story of DV is strong...and even the sets are grand..huge..appealing. DV seems to be a promising serial...and thatz wat i feel abt DV right now..nothing more..nothing less!

yes every review is negative. plus i think its too early to give a verdict. i didnt like prc too initially so i guess its ok.

Completely agree………when my bro last night called up ndtv office in Mumbai to know abt the chanl availability in dubai,,,,,,,,,the guy was today whole day we hv been getting the most calls frm dubai and uk for the chnl and he was sounding so pleased,,,,,,,he was some regional mngr or something…………….there hv been many new chnls launched in the past mnth but I don't think any one is making intl calls to get these chnls….n the guy admitted to rajat and dharm veer being the reason for this craze

yeah! that cud be one reason..and another one cud be rediff has not been paid enuf by ndtv! 😆 On a serious note..somethinig which has the ability to stand out of the ordinary is always considered bad initially. Even PRC was not trusted to be a show which can make an impact...but it changed history!! 😃
