The episode begins with demons asking Kartikeya not to interfere in this matters, which makes Kartikeya angry on Indra. There in Ksheer Sagar, Vishnu tells Narad that Indra has not done right by dragging Kartikeya in this situation. Therefore, Lord Vishnu asks Narad to inform Diti about the whole situation.

There on Mount Kailash, both Kartikeya and Ganesha decides to Mahadev about the sorry state of Swarglok. Lord Vishnu comes to Mahadev to discuss about the ongoing situation, to which Mahadev says that the time has come for the second step. Vishnu decides to step out of the situation to avoid further consequences

Kartikeya and Ganesha narrates the whole matter to the Mahadev and Mahadev asks both of them not to interfere in the matters of Swarg, and also tells that Indra os the sole responsible of all the bad things happenings.

Agni, Varun and all the other Gods come before Mahadev and beg for their forgiveness. They wanted to go to Kashi, but Mahadev stops as it could matters more worse.

There Narad tells the whole situation about the Swarg to Diti and Shukracharya. Shukracharya ask Diti, but Diti is sure that it is Indra behind all this, and hence he should be taught a lesson

There in a city, a priest is asking more money from a poor man for a pooja, a husband wants to waste all his money on his pleasures, and all the women are worried about the situation, also the women are harassed by the soldiers who buy them.

And suddenly a woman enters with a pooja thali' in her hands, a rich man throws money on her to spend some timw ith her, but Mahananda refuses saying that no money would be able to buy this time, which makes the rich man angry.

Mahananda goes to Lord Shiva's temple, but is stopped by the priest of the temple saying that she does not have the standard to enter the temple. Mahananda says that she is here to complete her Pradosh Vrat' for which she is needed to visit the Bhuteshvar and Buddheshwar Linga' and the person who is not allowing her to visit the temple does not follow the rules in Darshanshastra' as everyone is equal for Mahadev eyes. This makes the priest more angry.

The priest warns Mahananda, that I she tries to enter the premises of the temple she will have to face his curse. He also challenges her to complete her Pradosh Vrat.'
