Thanks for sharing Vrish! The Ananda Ramayana stories are completely bizarre and crass! I don't understand how...

BUt I like that story of 10 headed Ravana and 1000 headed RaVana, that is one of my favourites! Sita's full power is depicted!

But one thing. Who is Chandra?

@ Vrish.. Thank you for this link 😊. Can you please provide the link where member Khalrika has written "Sources for Gurmi Ramayan" ? Thank you.

I know that there are many bizarre versions of Ramayan, but we take Valmiki's as the original one and Tulsidas's as the one for bhakti, as Rama is portrayed as knowing himself as God. Kamban's is also based on Valmiki's , but for some slight poetic variations.

Now there is a new version, i.e., by DKDM creatives..😆. This is a one man show, where they are utilizing the popularity of their lead actor and giving out fiction in the name of creativity, and pointing out to the disclaimer when questioned, to justify themselves. No doubt that MR is an excellent and dedicated actor, but by over projecting him and his bhashans, they run the risk of making the show dragging and highly repetitive and also lose its credibility.
