I am glad they showed this Q and A instead of going all black and white like most stories relating to anything that has got to do with religion! 👏
I felt bad for Jalandhar! 😕
He asked what we also sometimes wanted to ask when we watched the track.
I am satisfied with Mahadev's answers to him. But only partly. When did Jalandhar insult Shukracharya? And when did he disobey him?
The only grave mistake he committed was kidnapping of Adi Shakti. But it's not like Shukracharya warned him against it! So how did he disrespect his guru? He was rather begging his guru not to leave him!
Jalandhar's questions were valid. You can't just give birth to a being and leave it to its fate! It's sad he was not given wise counsel in childhood. He got all shiksha about warfare and all but no emotional development.
But as much as I felt bad for him and agreed to his questions I also wondered what would he have done if Mahadev had acknowledged him as a son? Or praised him for defeating Indra? Would he have taken it positively? Or would he have gloated in pride again thinking - "Dekha! Swayam Mahadev ne meri taareef ki!"??
I am quite confused and still thinking about the issues this Q and A threw up.
I am happy Mahadev had a sympathetic expression on his face and slightly moist eyes as he listened to dying Jalandhar's questions. It was touching. It did show he wasn't just showing off his power or some hard hearted judge solely concerned about paap punya!
I hated the look on Shukracharya's face! How smug! It was his fault too for not looking after emotional well being of his disciple whose only support system he was!
Needless to say I was put off by looks on faces of Brahma and Vishnu also. I don't want to comment on them lest I offend sensitive people here.
It was nice to see Adi Shakti back and her reunion with Shiva. A moment of great significance!
But I am still pissed off for CVs not showing or telling the significance of Mahadev's Panchanan avatar! First they show it so briefly. Then they tell nothing about it.
I have to applaud Mohit Raina's acting! Superlative!! Heart-wrenching as the dying Jalandhar baring his soul and enlightening as the Omnipotent Mahadev! Posture, body language, voice modulation, expressions etc. all in perfect place! Stupendous!
I am happy Jalandhar is still around though only for one more episode.
I'll miss him and all the debates he threw up. Too bad he was always mocked, warned, taunted, loathed or left alone, had no sense of identity and lost even the few things that gave him a sense of identity and affiliation. Hope he finds peace in death.
One thought provoking track from team DKDM. I can't believe it's ending and these 3 monbths went away so soon. It had its flaws and loopholes but it was among DKDM's best tracks ever. Another win and another new peak in acting scaled by Mohit Raina!
(I can't believe he's the same guy who I forever hought of as miscast for Mahadev!)
