The nose ornament just above her upper lips is the BULLAK .

Blue is the Mellakku and Pink is called the Pavadai or lehenga

How do you describe Her so well? I have seen Amman alankaram done in temples and She looks so beautiful. Can imagine that when reading your description of Her.

Jaya ka, how good is your Tamil. I love a film song that describes Amman. I understand it, but am not comfortable enough to provide a good translation. The song itself is short but amazing. No prize for guessing the music director...oh! I just thought of another song about Devi by him, and another. Will post later if I find the translation. But the songs have lot of Sanskrit words, so should be easy enough to understand.

Masaru ponne varuga . from Devar Magan. I had asked Hema to see if she can make a VM for it.

The other two being Janani janani and Ninarul thrum Annapoorani. Stirs something in me each time I hear these songs.
