It is said that Sanskrit and Tamil are the languages came from Prakriti. But Thats not my doubt. Being from Chennai i have learnt that both Shiva and Skanda are associated with the Literature of Tamil Sangas.

Does Prakriti Language existed?? Does Lord Shiva and other Gods connected with Literature of any other languaged apart from Tamil???

Devanagari is a script used to write several Indian languages, including Sanskrit, Hindi, Marathi, Kashmiri, Sindhi, Nepali, and sometimes

The name Devanagari comes from the Sanskrit words Deva (god), and Nagari (city); together they mean, literally, the script of the "City of the Gods", where this city is the body of the individual. The philosophy behind it is that when one meditates on the specific sounds of the Devanagari alphabet, the written forms appear spontaneously in the mind.

Hi!

Actually Sanskrit and Tamil do not come from Prakrit.
First, Sanskrit and Tamil come from 2 different linguistic families.

Prakrit developed at a later stage ... from Sanskrit. Modern North Indian langs developed from this (I am simplifying).

Samskrta = cultured
prakrta = natural/original

devanagari is the name of a script (one of many in which sanskrit was written, it is the script we use to write Hindi today). Actually "devanagari" itself is a (relatively) recent term. The script used to be called just "Naagari" which means "urbane" (a vriddhi term from nagara)...the "deva" prefix was a later addition!
