TFS! 🤗I have really liked Shilpa Tulaskar in many of her shows where has played a mother. She very well portrays the motherly warmth.Brilliant actress.Im really happy with this news! 😆

Also,i hope now atleast they stop showing Maina as jumping jack-one minute she agrees with Parvati-Mahadev ki shaadi n the next moment she becomes skeptical.Hope this brings an end to that.

Thank God for this! I was really getting annoyed by the old Maina. She had such a nasal voice and the way she flared her nostrils whenever she spoke of Mahadev was getting on my nerves.

And I've seen Shilpa in Veer Shivaji. She was fantastic!

Thank god! I really felt that Mugdha was a total misfit for the role. But they did take a long time to decide!

Hmm Mugdha Shah looked like a good choice but the problem I feel was with her dialogues it lacked the punch compared to the character of Prasuthi (Sati's mom) which was brilliantly essayed.
Hope this is a good replacement I have not really watched any show of Shilpa Tulaskar so really cannot comment on her. She looks quite young in the pic displayed in the article. Have to see her on screen to determine further.
Yesterday's epi of Mahadev was brilliant. The face off between Mahadev and Parvati was brilliant. The chemistry between the two leads is also amazing.
Sonarika has indeed come a long way. She looks beautiful and also her expressions and dialogues was really good.

Im glad they are replacing Maina-although it seems a bit weird as to why they didnt do it earlier😆...Mughdah Ji is a good actress but she didnt fit the bill at all-she looked out of place!

I LOVE Shilpa Ji-shes awesum...i used to watch her shows as a kid,and shes brilliant-however as compared to Mughda jis strong personality,Shilpa Ji has a very soft motherly personality...but anyways its a thumbs up from my side...

if anyone has notices she can easily look like Sonas mom,they have similar face cuts!

Dubbing Sonas voice??-i dont think thats needed,she just needs to work more,she will do well,shes already improves as compared to her first episode!😃a dubbed voice on her will look strange!

im glad the Cvs are reading the stuff we write and are using it constructively rather than feeling bad about it...Cvs if you are reading this a BIG thank you from my side for reading and taking in mind what we say!

Now that the mythological show Devon Ke Dev Mahadev has started doing well for the channel, producer Nikhil Sinha is taking special care to ensure that no actor looks like a misfit in the character he/she essays.

He has thus decided to replace one of the key characters in the show — Parvati's ( Sonarika Bhadoria) mother Maina. The character which was essayed by Mugdha Shah will now be played by seasoned actress Shilpa Tulaskar. The actress was last seen in historical show Veer Shivaji, in which she played Shivaji's mother. According to a source, "Though Mugdha is a good performer, she didn't look convincing enough as a queen. The decision was the result of constant feedback for the actress." We hope the change is welcomed by the viewers and Sonarika alike.
