They are not showing everything, are taking some part from each Purana & other scripts, awailable to them. Sometimes it dissapoints but that's how this show will be, I guess. Last 2 epi were excellent👏

I'm surprised that Chandra was there. After all, it was Daksha who had punished him, and Mahadev who had shown him the right path and gave him refuge. I'd have thought that he wouldn't have attended this yagna in the first place. Indeed, do any of the scriptures list him as among the attendees?

I also found it funny that Narada, who is always on the side of Vishnu, was shown as being on the side of Nandi when the latter tried to get Mahadev to save Sati. (In the original, I thought that Nandi only went to Mahadev w/ the news of Sati's demise, not when there was any chance of saving her)

Daksh had invited every one, except Shivji & Sati. Chandra & the Snake were invited but didn't want to go. But Shivji told them to go for the yagya.

Chandra really looked shocked & conused yesterday.

According to DP Narad was present but left immidiately when Daksh continued his yagya even after Sati's end. He went to Kailash & informed Shivji about the event. .
