Part one

Manveer are actors who have gone on a cruise to Dubai where they meet each other for the first time... They are extremely popular but unfortunately they never worked with each other and they haven't paid any attention to anyone other than their co-stars therefore they have no idea as to who they are on their first meeting...

Manyata was walking out of a shop (on the ship) while trying to put her purse into her bag when she accidentally bumped into a hard figure causing her bag to fall...

Uday: shit, can't people watch where they walk!

Manyata was picking up her things but she heard him loud and clear, she stood up and looked him in the eye...

Manyata apologetically: I'm sorry, I was in a rush and I didn't see you...

Uday was lost in staring at her eyes which seemed to hypnotize him...

Uday: it's ok, mistakes happen and I was equally at fault so I'm sorry too...

Manyata smiled: Hi, my name is Manyata and you are?

Uday's thoughts: seriously, who doesn't know me...I'm one of the most talked about celebs

But these words couldn't make it out his lips...

Uday: I'm Uday

Manyata with a gentle smile: It's nice to meet you Uday, so how is your trip going?

Uday smiled: Quite good actually and yours?

Manyata: Well, it's quite relaxing, just what I needed...

Uday: do you seriousy not know me?

Manyata: have we met before?

Uday: not that I can remember...

Manyata: well, if I met you, I'm sure I would have remembered you and plus you're not some famous actor so I don't think I have to know you (mockingly)

Uday chuckled: sorry...

Manyata: it's ok, I guess mistakes is what makes us human

Uday: are you busy today?

Manyata: shoot! I'm actually getting late so see you soon (she held out one hand for him to shake while the other rested perfectly on her side)

Uday: it was nice meeting you (he shook her hand)

As soon as his hand touched her soft, smooth hands...he knew that they were bound to meet soon although he didn't understand what made him think so...

Uday was resting peacefully with his eyes closed in his cabin but his mind couldn't help but trail back to his meeting with Manyata and as soon as he remembered her, a smile couldn't help but make it's way to his face...

Realizing the fact that he started smiling, his eyes shot open...

Uday: does she seriously not know who I am? Wonder how she would react if she finds out that her guess more like accusation is true...(he chuckled) There is something about her that I like...well, this should be fun

Manyata entered her room and threw her bag and shopping bags onto the bed before plotting herself on the bed bedside the packets...

Manyata: arg!!! Gosh, some people are so stupid (she stared remembering the days events)

Flashback

Manyata and Uday bumped into each other and due to the force her handbag fell onto the ground and scattered a few of her things...when she sat down to pick it up...

Uday: Shit, can't people see where they walk!

Manyata's head was buried in her bag as she picked up the things and was trying to put it into her bag...but she heard him loud and clear

Manyata's thoughts: who is this rude, arrogant jerk...doesn't he know that he is also at fault, does he not have eyes...anyway, let's give him a lesson in Manyata's style... (she immediately stood up after closing her handbag)

Manyata apologetically: I'm sorry, I was in a rush and I didn't see you...

Uday: it's ok, mistakes happen and I was equally at fault so I'm sorry too...

End of Flashback

Manyata laughed: At least, I got him to say sorry (she smiled but soon the expression changed) how on Earth does he expect me to know who he is if this is the first time I met him? (a smile once again crept on her face but this time as a form of blush) but I got to admit, he isn't bad looking...

It was nearly one o clock and Uday was famished so he made his way to the dinning area and when he entered, his eyes immediately fell on Manyata who was sitting on the far end reading a book...

The waiter had arrived to escort him to a table...

Uday: don't worry, I found my table

He then made his way to Manyata's table...

Uday stood right in front of her holding the chair: Mind if I join you?

Manyata lifted her gaze from the book and onto Uday...she seemed to examine before nodding her head in approval

Manyata's thoughts: what is this creepy doing here?

Uday had noticed the way she examined him...

Uday's thought: is she playing hard to get? And the way she looked at me from head to toe seemed like she was assessing me...Oh well, no one can resist my charm...

Manyata: I am such an idiot, I should have said NO and no thanks to his intense gaze, I can't even read properly...Maybe Aryan was right when he said that I am too sweet... (she sighed in frustration)

Uday could no longer take the silence and he knew that he needed to at least the conversation

Uday: what are you reading?

Manyata gave him a cold stare as a form of a reply before pointing to the title of the book...and she looked back into the book

Uday: Oh, so do you believe in love stories?

Manyata again lifted her head and looked him but this time she shook it lightly

Uday's thoughts: It's so hard to even get a word out of her! What else can I do?

He saw her busy reading so he signaled the waiter to come to the table and the waiter did...

Waiter: what can I get for you sir?

Uday looked at Manyata: would you like to have something?

Manyata was getting annoyed but she shook her head once again

Uday: ok then, bring me a cup of coffee and a chocochino muffin

Waiter: is that all, sir?

Uday: yea, that will be all...

Manyata's thoughts: he's got no thing called politeness...I feel sorry for the people that love or live or work with him...I don't think he has any manners leave alone decency...

Uday's thoughts: I never in my life had to work this hard to gain a girl but here, I can't even seem to get her to talk to me leave alone her attention...

After ten minutes of silence, the waiter arrived with Uday's coffee and muffin...

Uday was about to take a bite before he decided to ask her a question...whereas Manyata was getting annoyed with his presence...

Uday received a cold stare before he could say anything ...

Manyata put down her book and looked at him in utter annoyance: you've been sitting her for the past, say fifteen minutes and you haven't left a single chance to annoy me

Uday shook his head in disapproval, as if trying to deny Manyata's accusations making her more annoyed and irritated...

Manyata's thoughts: before I explode on him, I rather just go to my room...yea, that's what I'll do...

Manyata: please excuse me... (without waiting a second more, she picked up her bag and walked off)

Uday chuckled a bit: at least she said something... she's different but I like it... (hesmiled to himself)

Manyata entered her room and threw her bag on the bed...she was walking around in her room to calm her mind when she received a phone call...

Manyata: hey mom, how you?

Komal: I'm good and you, sweety?

Manyata: I'm good, how was your day?

Komal: my day was super boring because you were not here...

Manyata: aww...mom, I'll be back in a couple of days...

Komal: days or months?

Manyata: it will only take two weeks mom...

Komal: ok, never mind that, how was your day?

Manyata: don't even ask, today I bumped into a rude, irritating, annoying jerk who just spoilt my entire mood!

Komal laughed: no one can spoil your mood so easily so would you care to tell me what happened?

Manyata narrated the entire day's events to her and Komal couldn't help but laugh much to Manyata's irritation...

Manyata: mom, my day is ruined and you're laughing!

Komal: sorry sweety but it's just that you're getting worked up for nothing...

Manyata: mothing? Mom, I promise you if I ever see that jerk again, I'm going to give him a piece of my mind!

Someone knocked on Manyata's door...Manyata made her way to the door...

Komal: you do that sweety, now would you care to tell me that jerks name?

Manyata: Udayveer! (she opened the door)
