Chapter 1
CBI Inspector Tanya Malhotra was in her room. Yes, the workaholic Tanya was home. Her parents were so happy. Even her father was not that addicted to work. Today the Malhotra Family had planned a night out. Some shopping and then dinner. After-all it was not frequent that they will get Tanya home. The Malhotra Residence was bustling with energy. Apart from mother, father and daughter, there was a little brother too. Not that he was very little. Aditya Malhotra. Called Adi by his friends, he is the spoilt brat of the family. But he loves his sister dearly.
Avantika(on top of her voice): Aditya!!! Jaldi aao beta!
Aditya(shouting): Coming mom!
Abhijeet(to Avantika): Ye Tanya abhi tak aayi kyun nahi?
Avantika: Pata nahi jee. Aj sabka mood he late karvane ka.
Hearing footsteps coming down the stairs, they turned to see Tanya coming down.
Tanya: Dekho! Mein to aa gayi. Abhi tak aap logo ka ladla beta nahi aaya.
But just then she felt a blow on her head.
Tanya: Aah! Kyu mara?
Aditya: Mein akela kya ladla beta hu? Tu inki ladli beta nahi hai?
Tanya(hitting Aditya and smiling): Wo toh mein hu.
Avantika: Chalo ab bacho ki tarha marpeet karna bandh karo aur chalo.
Abhijeet: Ha, chalo! Gaari bhi nikalni hai.
Everyone went out and got into the car. There was a little fight between Tanya and Aditya about who will drive the car. At last their father only drove the car. He let neither of them drive. The drive was short but even in that short time bro & sis managed to quarrel. Though Tanya was very sweet in the house, in her job everyone feared her. Even many young officers liked her. But they were too afraid to confess. Whatever, for the time being they had reached the famous shopping mall in Mumbai. After getting out of the car...
Abhijeet: Itni bhir kyu hai?
Avantika: Wahi toh main soch rahi hu.
Aditya(fixing his look on the glass of their car): Shayad yaha pe Deepika Padukone aayi he! Mein to usko impress karke hi chorunga!
His parents stared at him as though he had spoken in Spanish.
Tanya: Deepika Padukone aur tujhse impress??? Ho hi nahi sakta. Aur vaise bhi wo nahi aayi he. Wo yaha se shopping nahi karti. Mein soch rahi hoon ki itna important event ho raha hai aur mujhe kisine bataya nahi. Dekh lio kal unki khair nahi!!
Avantika: Acha kiya nahi bataya. Isiliye tum ab humare saath ho.
Tanya: Ha wo bhi sahi hai!
Abhijeet: Ab andar bhi chalein ya yahi pe reh ke sara din bitane ka plan he.
Aditya: Ha chaliye. Deepika nahi toh koi aur sahi!

The press is going berserk. The girls are going gaga. Everyone has turned up in this mall today. Isn't their any other place in this world? Am I the only royal? No. But I the most handsome one. The most eligible bachelor in India(beating Salman Khan). I am royal. No one can beat me. But now this is going out of hand. We can't shop here. Above all, Jainandini is with me. She is the most unbearable person in this world. Right now she is just sticking to me. I am supposed to be doing the most unbearable thing with the most unbearable person. Which is I handle the press with J.
Reporter 1: Are you going to marry Rajkumari Jainandini?
Reporter 2: What about your engagement with Rajkumari Manyata?
Reporter 3: Has Rajmata believed the fact that she can't be found?
I(burning with anger inside but smiling outside):No comments. Now if you please excuse us we may like to go.
Jai(whispering in my ear): Ye tum kya bol rahe ho? Ab bol hi do ki next hum dono ki engagement hai.
I felt like kicking her ass and throwing her in the fire of hell. But I kindly ignored her and practically carried her towards the main entrance of the mall. Suddenly, the head guard came to me and told that we should not go as it had started raining heavily and the it will be difficult driving the car.
Head guard: Sir, agar aap ab nikle toh driver raasta dekh nahi payga. Barish bohot tez hai.
Me: Kya?? To hum yaha kab tak yaha par rahe?? Ghar basale kya yaha pe?
Head guard (looking embarrassed): Nahi sir! Hum press ko clear kar rahe hai. Barish rukte hi hum aap logo ko bulva lenge.
Me: Par humein koi fans ya press nahi chahiye.
J: Chalo Uday, hum log shopping karte he.
Me: I don't have an option.
Jai dragged me to a exquisite looking shop. While shopping her strength became tremendous but before the press she was so weak that I had to lift her. *sigh*

Malhotra Family
The rain had almost ruined their plan. As they stood talking outside they the mall, the rain came pouring. They almost ran to the mall.
Tanya: Is barish ko bhi abhi aana tha??!!
Aditya: Tu pehli baar ek meaningful question poochi.
Avantika: Chalo choro. Hum log yaha pe shopping karne ke liye aaye the. Bhool gaye kya?
Abhijeet: Correct point! Chalo bacho .
Adi & Tanya glared at their father but went inside the mall with him.
Aditya: Ab dekhta hoon ki kaunsa celebrity aya ya ayi he.
Tanya: Ha, tu aur kya kar sakta hai.
Abhijeet: Tum log sabke samne jhagra mat karo.
They realised that some people around them are staring at them. Embarrassed, they follow their parents.
Tanya(under her breath): Sab tere wajah se hua.
Adi: Chup kar. Teri galti mere pe mat daal.
Suddenly they heard a commotion behind them. Tanya heard a girl shouting on top of her voice.
Girl: Chor, chor!!! Mera bag!! Pakro, Pakro!!
Hearing this Tanya a current pass through her. She ran to that girl and asked her..
Tanya: Kaha gaya?Kis taraf?
Girl: Wo...wo us entrance ki taraf gaya he.
Tanya ran towards the entrance. Except a few guards, no one was there. She sensed that the thief had escaped but in her head she thought
Inspector Tanya Malhotra se pala para he tera. Dekhti hoon ab bach ke kaha jata he tu.
She ran outside. She could see a figure in the parking lot. She was soaked in water, a cold wind was blowing and the road had become slippery. But she was determined to catch the scoundrel. She hand swiftly went down to her waist where she kept her gun. Then she realised that she was not in uniform. She looked around and found a rusty old iron rod lying.
Ab isse hi kaam chalana parega. pata nahi uske paas kya he.
Taking it up she swiftly and noiselessly crept up behind that person. It looked as though his next theft was going to be this car. Probably, he sensed someone behind and turned. Tanya got a glimpse of a rough face. She could not make it out as it was partially dark. She did not lose a moment and hit him with the rod in the face. He was stunned for a moment but moment became fatal to him. She struck him again and again. She heard footsteps of the approaching guards after a couple of minutes. The thief had been injured by then. The guards carried him into the mall. Tanya followed the guards with the stolen handbag. The bag looked quite expensive. In her mind she made a point to observe the girl whose bag had been stolen.
When she entered the mall she was dripping wet. Many people had gathered around the entrance. This guards had laid the man on a bench. As soon as she entered, her mother heaved a huge sigh of relief. The girl, whose bag was stolen, was standing with what the world called a handsome hunk. As Tanya had thought she was wearing branded clothes. Straightaway Tanya handed the bag over to its mistress. She seemed disappointed about something. But why will Tanya care? She herself had done her job. Being a cop was her passion. This pleased her a lot.

Uday
This day is really going very bad. Firstly, the press turned up and now this Jai. Her wretched designer bag had been stolen by a good thief but she made a huge mess of it. The girl! Yes, the girl is pretty interesting. The cop! The inspector who caught that thief is pretty interesting. She is amazing. So brave! She handled that thief all alone! Wow!! I wish I had got someone like her. Not like Jai!
Me: Hey you!
Inspector: I have a name! I am Inspector Tanya Malhotra.
No, spoke to me like that before. I had not realised that she did not know our real identity. Other girls drool over me. But she is so ignorant towards my rank or position.
Jai: Inspector, hum log royals he. Rajkumar Udayveer ke saath koi bhi ease baat nahi kar sakta.
She seemed shocked to hear Jai. But controlled her emotions in a second and said...
Tanya: Oh! to isiliye aj itni bhir he.
J: Jee haan!
Me: Jai, kya apne inka shukriya ada kiya?
J: No!
Me(turning to Tanya): Sorry for her behaviour, Inspector! Thank you for your help!
Tanya(smiling): My pleasure.
She looks beautiful when she smiles. On the whole she is beautiful. Very beautiful. I wonder why no one like her came to me before. The difference in her behaviour was noticeable. Any other girl in her position would hve been drooling over me by now. Hmmm... Inspector Tanya Malhotra is certainly interesting.
