Sorry for being late but I am updating all my FFs & SSs now. So this is were I start. I am giving a small chapter 2 of this FF.
Chapter 2
Recap:- A chasing and a happy ending of the day.
Uday
The raining has ceased. I am heading home with my so called fiance! And she is annoying as usual. Not a moment's peace is given to me.
J: Wo larki kitni battameez thi na, Uday!
Me: J tum please kuch der chup reh sakti ho?😡😡 Usne tumhara bag bachaya aur tum ho use kose jaa rahi ho!!
J(sulking): U dear, tum mere fiance ho ya uske.
I thought to myself that I would be thankful to be Inspector Tanya's fiance but kept quiet thinking of dad and dadisaab. J unki poti lagti hi nahi hai. Mujhe unke liye ye karna hi parega. A sudden jerk broke this chain of thoughts. We had reached the Devgarh Mahal. J tugged at my hand.
J: Chale Uday?
Me: Ha, chalo.
We went in together, J was clinging to me as usual. I had been summoned by Dadisaab. The reason why I entered with her.
J: DS se milke kya tum mere paas aoge?
Me(flirtingly): Of course J. Anything for you! Par ab tum apne kamre mein jao. Mujhe pehle Dadisaab se milna he.
J went to her looking very pleased with herself. And she was quite pleased too. But the flirting part was just because I was in her territory. I crossed the hallway and proceeded towards Dadisaab's office.
Me: Seemaji wo andar he kya?
Servant: Ha rajkumar, rajmata andar hi hai.
I knocked at the door of her office & called: May I come in?
DS: Aayiye beta. Hum aapke hi rah dekh rahe the.
Me: Ghanikhamma dadisaab.
DS: Khammaghani, beta. Bethiye. Hume aapse kuch baat karni hai.
Me(sitting down & smiling): Kya baat hai dadisaab! Ap bohot kush lag rahe hai!
DS: Kush to hum bohot hain aj. Hum soch rahe the ki ap aur J ek 20 days ke trip par jaye. Shaadi se pehle.
A electric current passed. 140 volts ka jhatka. 20 days with J all alone before marriage!!! But the shock remained in my mind. I acted quite normal outside not letting the horror come to my face.
Me: Hum log akele jayenge kya? Aur kaha jayenge?
DS: Nahi beta. Aap aur J apne dosto ke saath jayenge.
Me(heaving a sigh of relief in my mind): Press wale toh nahi honge waha?
DS: Hum toh press se apki sagai ki baat chupane ke liye hi ap logo ko bheg rahe hai waha pe.
Me: Par hum ja kaha rahe hai?
DS: Ap log jaa rahe Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
Me:The other side of India. Bay of Bengal pe! Par hum jayenge kaise? Flight se, zaroor?
DS: Nahi beta ap log ship se jaa rahe hain. Yaha se Kolkata plane pe aur phir waha se ship pe jayenge.
Me: Good idea Dadisaab! Waha pe toh press pohoch bhi nahi payenge.
DS: Par apko kuch extra security chahiye hogi.
Me: Kyu?
DS: Ships ab utne bhi safe nahi hai. Isiliye ap yaha ke kuch CBI Inspectors ke sath jayenge.
Me: Jee Dadisaab. Jo aap thik samjhe.
DS: Thik he beta ab ap jaiye. Bohot der ho gayi he.
Me: Par Dadisaab kya ap J ko ye news de denge?
DS(smiling one of her most charming smiles): Ap kal subha J ko bata dena.
Me(looking embarrased): Jee, Daidisaab. Ab hum chalte hain.

Shopping was complete they were having a great dinner. But in the middle of that some called Abhijeet.
Caller: Hello, Abhijeet tumhari beti kaha hai?
Abhijeet: Tanya? Wo toh yahi hai. Kyu kya hua?
Everyone sitting around the table looked at him. Tanya looked a tad bit worried.
Caller: Usse phone dena!
Abhijeet assured the caller and handed the phone over to Tanya.
Tanya: Hello, sir!
Caller: Inspector tumhara phone kaha hai?
Tanya: Wo paani mein bheeg ke kharab ho gaya he.
Caller: Kaise?
Tanya: Lambi kahani he sir. Par ap kisliye phone kiye the?
Caller: Tum hare liye ek assignment hai.
Tanya: Okay, abhi jana hoga?
Caller: Nahi. Next week 20 days ke liye tumhe Andaman & Nicobar Islands jana hai. Royalties ke saath. Tayyar ho jane ke liye?
Tanya: Of course sir. Par mujhe akele jana hai kya?
Caller: Nahi tumhare saath humare ward ke aur bhi inspectors jayenge. Aur tumhe normal dikhne ke liye apne family ka ek young member le jana parega.
Tanya: Aditya chalega?
Caller: Ha chalega, agar use koi problem na ho to.
Tanya: Okay sir. Kal milte he.
The caller cut the call. Tanya shifted her attention to her family to find everyone was staring at her with a questioning glance.
Tanya: Kya hua?
Aditya: Phone pe mere bare mein kya baat kar rahi thi?
Tanya: Ghar chal sab batati hoon.
