Unfortunately I am to egoistical to take somebody else's word so I just my own judgement and good for you did... Raj... unless its launching the rocket dont trust yourself.... 😊 the real problem is when you think he is bad and some your seniors give in to his smooth talk.. thast bigger trouble...😊

Not necessarily... havn't you ever been surprised with views over here... or doesn't all post have an expected opinion..cann't understand why you made that statement.. anyways... I personally think that if it is an opinion then it is biased😛. Whether a good or bad one, it depends upon the equation the person shares with the other. So feedback needn't be a real analysis but it cannot be ignored.

Feedback given by person you respect or are influenced by or is a proven pro..say for eg. you or I give a feedback saying ..this resource is slow...and still Mr. B puts him on time critical assignment...later on B's review what feedback will we give.


If I am getting a new team member then I would surely keep his other team member's opinion in mind and still continue to work with the person and form my own opinion. It is possible that the kind of work you do and your wavelength matches so you have a good rapport with this colleague whereas in other team the discord was due to his incapacity to work in that project and scenario. I have seen opinionated and petulant fellows have their cronies who stick to them always and such people are going to always give you positive report on this team member and on personal analysis you will find the reverse😛.

Now coming to your situation, it is possible that 4 months before the person was unskilled and gave trouble to his team and now he is experienced and better. That doesn't make your assessment right or your colleagues' assessment wrong and vice versa😊

No.. resource as I look has bad and good qualities.. I understood the potential with mock assignments and untilized to best benefit of the project... Seriously I need no help..just made or usually make topics which helps all... to learn from experiences... am well placed and firing great guns..thank god so no worries.. 😳 The day I need help advice corner jindabad 😆😆


Finally, If you are the one who needs to do the performance analysis of your subordinate then you need to take all his work account and all team's opinion into consideration, good and bad.

you are very welcome Raj. Along with opinions, also watch out for what people dish out as so called 'facts". facts can be twisted and interpreted totally differently and out of context just to suit one's perception. so, like everyone else said, i would reiterate ki suno sab ki, karo apnee😊

bang on qwerty!!! couldn't agree more here. double faced people can fool anyone initially and by the time people realize what the smooth talkers are all about, significant damage may have occurred already....but like DB Doll said, eventually true personalities come out😊....so there's still hope if one has time on their hands😆

Simple....Everyone finally said 'Use your judgment'. Didn't they? So that is what my statement meant. Was it too difficult to understand? 😕 I thought I worded it too simple.

Good for you. I thought this thread asked for opinion on certain situation in general😉. Anyways......deleted since it was not needed.

Exactly. That point I mentioned in my post too. Positive or negative, all are opinion.

May be ppl who responded here are from same school of thinking... alas my boss last year could understand this... he felt Use Your Judgement ..after feedback from respectable/trusted person is Overhead... lolss.. well think about it.. which I did reason for topic... feedback matters.. doesn't it??? lolss i really don't care ..make my own opinion..being a rebel from childhood. lolsssss

Awwww no no..I apreciate it... yaar (no offy) just making clear as am misunderstood on many post as being my personal problem..specially the love/relationship one's ..soo makign clear... just want some interesting topics...atleast I attempt... to keep the learning theory rolling with intellect views here..i wish I had IF-DM when i was 15 years.. 😆

There you go... deliverables in competative/consultant world is no less then rocket launch... out of job any minute lolssssss. as QT mentioned "never fail to surprise me " One has to factor out all the aspects ... to avoid the big troubles u mentioned 😉 😆
