People paid their taxes on time, they paid road taxes and whatever that's to be paid for every vehicle they bought. Why didn't the govt. do a better job of constructing and maintaining roads?? Why didn't the govt. in the first place try to educate people of family planning or stop illegal migrants?? Why should the public be deprived of the comfort or safety they deserve just because our govt. was inefficient??

bang on buddy😊 i'm from the same school of thought as well. if govt. was doing what it's supposed to do rt from the beginning, our infrastructure back home wldn't be in shambles like it is today

How many people in India have more then one car per person to make an impact and even if they own multiple cars, they cannot be driving more then one car at a time ...

I guess if the traffis becomes bad , India will have to introduce tolls like we have in the US or congestion tax like in Central London . I guess HOV lanes won't work there!!! as whatever the mode of transportation , there is never a single person travelling alone ..😆 (HOV = higher occupancy lane)

kis duniya mein reh rahee ho tum lighty??? how long has it been since u visited india??? don't know about others but in my parents' society, pretty much 80% of the occupants have more than one car per family and hubby and wifey take their own cars to work. at times, a driver comes to drop kids to school in car as well. there r families, and a hell of a lot of families at that, who own multiple cars and we r talking about families with more than one member yaar😛 it is possible to drive two cars simultaneously by diff members of the family...in case u did not know😛

if i am not mistaken, toll roads have already been introduced in delhi. come to think of it, my bro used one when we were going to a mall there this nov. when i was there. so yes, they r moving in the right direction. as it is, lot of people r already using the metro rail there as well. if the govt. keeps up the good work, i do not see why people can't buy what they want to buy and still make smart choices😊

It is all very nice to say that everyone should be able to afford a car...but the ground reality is that the infrastructure in urban India is already reeling under the very very fast growing traffic on roads....its the government's responsibility all right...but fact of the mattter is government's efforts are not matching the pace of increased vehicles on road...

focus should be on developing quality public transport like Metro in all cities or better , environment friendly buses...
but maybe it is all for the better...ppl will keep their cars parked at home and prefer to walk

so india does not need the car because the road infrastructure is poor? 😆 by that reckoning, india also does not need clothes because if we have clothes, they'll of course get dirty and we'll need to wash them. 😆 but we dont really have free balconey space anymore, do we? ever seen all those petticoats billowing in the wind? so what then? stop manufacturing clothes? 😛 😆

Has tata collaborated with Mattel for this car.. 😆 Our roads dont need any more cars....I think Tata should make those motorized scooters with optional canopy.. People will reach to work faster and there will be lesser traffic.....anyway better than having one car for ammy, one for abbu, one for babli and one for pappu 😆
