I think such reminders from time to time makes all stay in focus, though I do agree that this particular one came out sounding too harsh. I am sure ~LiL*PrInCeZ~ did not mean to sound so harsh......I know from personal experience that sometimes one can tend to sound sterner than it is meant to....
I do concurr with all of you, that having clean good fun and a few detours add to the flavour of the debates and also help in bonding of the members.

Minnie, Now when everyone is seriously debating you are questioning that? 😆The problem is not just this post but the person's first post on DM and then the subsequent yellow stickies here and there.

If the person was a moderator some months back then isn'it it polite to re-introduce herself and try to know the members? Moderator or not everyone needs to have some basic etiquette. This is not the way.

Before asking members to move on can we solve the issue first? Why is there a justification of her actions because the person is a moderator whereas some other members were warned for the one post they made without any justification?

Abhi-Kabhi, I don't know about others but I totally agree with you. Anshu is a super viewbie and the best thing happened to DM. I went through many previous posts of all eras and have not found any difference in 'then' and 'now'. Anshu (Raj) handled things so well even in the toughest times.👏👏👏

The day ANSHU became a member DM pages got rolling, buzzing with new posts!
All said is less about him. We loved him as a member and we adore and respect him as the viewbie. ABHI, very aptly added! I will also add DB to the newly actively posting contributor- amazing with her personality, experience, open-mindedness and versatality.

That's a very valid point imo also. Several members have noticed a report-worthy attitude in the past few days. The adversities earlier encountered by this forum have made the members aware of benefits of sticking together as a group. We are not an uncontrolled crowd here. We don't deserve to be treated like it. That's all. I think all of us would like to hear that :) and then peacefully move on instead of several bearing unpleasant thoughts.

Yes, I agree with everything you peeps said.

I am very new to IF and I joined it to get info about some of the soaps but I bumped into DM once and the first thing what I noticed as the friendliness amongst everyone, which provoked me to post here. The peolpe are so great that it urges you to talk to them and get to know them better.

Without humor and wit, DM will be really a dry place and haunting will become a literal word! And, Raj and Tisha make it so easy for newbies with their smooth communication and creativity.

DM is just PERFECT with the way it is running.

Once again I'm back with my some more views!!!

No change in my list of fav debators by adding the names of Priya ji,Minnie ji ,.T,Maryam(MNMS),Raj and Tania Mam becoz these people are the hosts and we should not praise the host however sweet they are😛!!

Let me share my personal experience regarding DM! There is lot of difference between in administrating by being in the ruling party and giving constructive criticism in opposition! The second one is really an intelligent and easy task of which almost all the Dmers are capable! Moderating or administrating intelligent people is a herculian task! All the Dev team members are doing really a good job in monitoring us (without letting us know that we are being monitored)!!! They have several issues each day from several members and all the members are not Nursery kids to keep quiet when given a lolly pop or khulfi 😛, these Dmers are of different ages and wonderful academic backgrounds,consoling and controlling all the members by doing equal justice is really pretty tough and DM is STILL a WONDERFUL place because all the Dev team members are taking all the measures to keep this forum active,lively and informative without any conflicts!

Regarding our new moderator LilPrincez! She is a wonderful person! She has been a good dev team member from several days!She groomed this section to this level! She had some vision for DM and she strived for it in intial stages,now that she is back again,she might be worried about the change in style of debates! The efforts she made in earlier stages made DM to grow into a wonderful mansion!! We need to understand the intentions behind her toughness!! Its quite natural that disciplined and punctual Headmistress or Principals are always tough😊!!

I don't want to measure the beauty of administration ofTania Mam,Raj ji and MNMS by once again praising their greatness! They are sweet !!!!

BTW earlier DM used to be like Ramakrishna Math,the moderator being the pious sadhus in saffron dressess and the viewbies being the white dressed young sadhus(who are in probationary period) where the environment is very calm ,punctual, intellignet and wise!

Later on after some time DM seemed to be changed as Osho Ashram where we can speak and do whatever we want intelligently!

But now it got settled as Art of living ,Ravishankar Ashram where people are free to learn ,where people are taught the beauty of life and where people don't fear GOD but love GOD!

(Note: with lot of respect to all the above mentioned sadhus ,organizations and othes,not intended to hurt anyone)

Similary for the DMers of prior generations the transitions of DM are tough to understand and digest! It took me these many days to understand this! Earlier I too used to cry ,weep,sob on my computer that DM is changing😆!!

We need to change with change!!
