A moderator suddenly barges in and disrupts the functioning of a forum with so many rude remarks then whom will members report them to? Or is it always members who are at receiving ends?

All your responses were to the point 👏. I also have same Question as you do as above. If a moderator comes into a section and disturbs peace within section by going on a warning spree, who can a member report that moderator to ???We need to know the protocol. or we don't have any recourse 😳 Hope we all will have some answers soon 😃

Thanks Myth for nice words. It means a lot. I think I can claim to be an oldie here because I was there when Doc was viewbie. I have seen the humor in his posts (the so called spamming) too. Then there were also some Uncle-niece posts among serious debates.

I would say Debate Mansion doesn't necessarily be something where people argue or fight putting gloomy faces. We can make detour once a while and then come back to main topic. This has been done in the past too which many refer as Golden era because I just made a search with some of the members names active then.

It is always nice to known people better before accusing them. Why to start things on sour note? What is the need?

i tend to agree with the majority of the ppl here. being a fairly new addition to the DM forum i've actually found this section to be the most intellectual yet fun at the same time. this is one of the reasons my post size has increased a fair bit since i've started coming here.

one gets to have intelligent debates with ppl........sometimes opinions happen to be poles apart.........yet the discussions still are mature enough and are not insensitive to anyone (which is more than i can say for some other sections.)

i think our viewbies raj and tisha have been doing a wonderful job here so far. they are likable and have a great way of communicating their thoughts to the members.

i don't necessarily agree with getting a warning for posts that are not debating the topic........for me it was the wit and humour included in the posts that attracted me to this section in the first place.

if this section turns into strictly serious talks only then i'm afraid i won't be that active here anymore. 😭

actually i'm alittle confused.........in pakistani serials forum they have a party thread there with all the mods participating......isn't that spamming?

Cant say anything but the word pathetic for this rule🤢..... Anshu noone can stop u from opening any debate topics... if any moderator does that we will all take on that moderator we are with u.... this forum is democratic, it can not be ruled by a moderator.... I would have agreed if ur topics were not debatable.... but they are debatable and they have every right to be in this forum.... so go ahead and dont change ur ways for anyone when u r right 😃.... if u r right majority will be with u 👏

I think such reminders from time to time makes all stay in focus, though I do agree that this particular one came out sounding too harsh. I am sure ~LiL*PrInCeZ~ did not mean to sound so harsh......I know from personal experience that sometimes one can tend to sound sterner than it is meant to....

I do concurr with all of you, that having clean good fun and a few detours add to the flavour of the debates and also help in bonding of the members.


So lets move on, and debate !
