I am also t😆ired of listening to this beaten to death definition of Hinduism.. I am looking for someone to stand up for once and tell us what that way of life is supposed to be...Its definetly not being overtly tolerant and let all the others take us for a royal ride and not know what to say other than 'Hinduism is a way of life' and look the other side... 😕

Its just a mere excuse by people who cant get fashion out of hinduism, who feel ashamed if they clain idol worship..and be seen following the rituals etc and who have come to the point to believe that stone effigies dont become God just by faith.....😊.. In short people who are trying to say the above are the ones who want to be hindu but without the apparent naivete associated with it...😊

hinduism is the oldest living religion of the world

its the third largest religion

hinduism belives in karma and reincarnation

the ultimate goal of a hindu is to attain mukti(free from cycle of life and birth and become one with god) In Hinduism, it is believed that there is an eternal soul (jivatman). When the soul gets liberated (at the time of death), moksha is attained. A person who attains moksha basically is able to come out of the karmic cycle of birth, death and rebirth.

It can be a punishment for those who have bad karma during their lives - they are reborn as lower life forms. That can be tough when you can only attain moksha via a human body.

The point here is if I in my current birth dont know who I was in my last birth without feigning dreams...and visions etc... it doesnt really matter... the question will be why would I even tread that path of emancipation?😊

See living time do something good...thats karma.......if people did not do any good deeds on this earth why should they be sent to heaven?

A)what happens to a *man* when he dies .and what does a man
gets in Heaven?
B)what happens to a *woman* when she dies, and what does she
gets in heaven?

if you come to the realization that what you are today is perhaps because of how you were in the past, maybe you would want to behave in a way that leads to emancipation in the future. ok, at least most reasonable people would i think.😉

Isnt my current karma more eivdent like being in cause and effect relationship for my current state rather than my speculation (you called it realization) of what I did in an impossble state/period of time?😉..

The concept of Infinity sure gives people imagination...😆

no, history is always an important aspect. it's not just contemporary cause and effect. there'd be no such thing as "the last straw that broke the camel's back" if not for cumulative history.😉

yes. 😛dont know why people cant understand that concept
