I will check it out when I am in India 😛. I also believe in doing what I say. And I don;t flip flop on what I say either 😉.
Maya and myself professionally chose similar occupations 😛 working for the health benefits of people- not money machines and not machines 😆😆

QT, I appreciate your reply but personally I don't think we need to explain ANYONE what path we chose and why?

The only thing we can donate without much fuss is blood and sometimes time.. Any body part will make us take a step back not because we dont love them but we do realize our physical existence...all said this is on case by case basis... its not too difficult for some to make sacrifices...

Agreed... I think there are 2 things here.. first to have another child which the parents may have for whatever reason they had the first child to begin with...

2nd issue is whether to subject this child to a surgical procedure however small or minimal it might be in relation to any medical procedure one goes thru a lifetime to cure ailment because BMD may not be a major procedure compared to renal donation. But if both children were adults then I can't imagine any one sibling not agreeing to the procedure to save a life.

I as a parent would not be able to put my 2nd child without his/her legal consent ...

hah.. but since it is something we can be humble yet proud of..
- in the event of a finger pointed at us.. hope u did not mind.. 😳
nobody needs to do anything for anybody. That's the bottom line. man killed his own mom, father killed his son, father killed his daughter in a country that has countrymen ganging up on every other culture..
we can be glad we think better than them.. that's good enough I wold say 😆😆

Nothing against you. But I don't like my personal or professional life being brought into debates or discussions here.

This is to members who posted their sensible views on this thread:

Thanks. Discussions on this thread are based on hypothetical as well as real incidents. It is not about who donates blood and who donates organs. When we are debating on a subject, sensitive or otherwise, let us keep in mind not to get personal. It is my request.

another one cutes👏.. I could say this but may not live upto it...

I was not finger pointing merely stating that most adults dont donate blood on a routine basis.. If I havent given blood even once.. I cant advice somebody to donate his kidney for some noble cause even if its his brother or whatever...and as far as kids are concerned thats out of question....more importantly when somebody produces kids to make them almost brave martyrs...

Everyone!

Just got here and no there were no reports yet!

Please! this is nice post why we want to ruin it! Please hold your horses, doesn't matter, if one is or not sensitive but you should always respect others sensitivity.

Don't understand why? at one point people claim being a friendly, on contrary hurt feelings.

Focus on the topic and arguements, please don't be personal. Again Everyone even with clean records, to be considerate!

Thanks!

Raj (Dev)
