I think women are justified when they complain about injustice related to jobs that both men and women can perform with equal ease, finesse, and perfection/ quality.

haha but i never had a problem with that starting with my first post. i have been consistently talking about all the other situations where one or the other sex is more likely to fit the bill. my impression was that was also problematical.😉
but if pushed, i'd still give the benefit of doubt to the employer on hiring decisions unless the woman can prove she's as competent as the next guy. after all, the employer has his/ her money on the line and are unlikely to stupidly exclude one gender unless it makes business sense. cant have business going down the tube, creating unemployment for other employees, just because some women whine, can we? 😉
also, if we make business managers accountable for the wrongs done by their employees, we shouldnt be undermining their authority by mandating who they can hire😊 accountability without authority leads to disasters😊

Women and whining, sorry- don't fit in the same sentence.. 😛
oh, pardon me, maybe that's just something i have seen them do periodically. 😉now who knows whether that's universal?😊

Oh dear! I lost track. I read when QT agreed with me that women do demand preferential treatments in a high profile job and also just quit to become house mommies without even thinking how much was spent on her. I need to go back and read and change my view now.

So that works both ways...Lady managers can now safely lay off those unwanted, unaccountable male sub-ordinates.. 😛
sure, as long as the guy is not as good as the gal. statistically a less likely event though.😉

Maya, I am on fence on this one. I liked everything you said before and agreed with it. I also said that it is sad that some bad apples give the entire womankind a bad reputation. Many of us put even basic happiness on back seat in order to get work done. If that goes un-noticed becasue the resume says -gender female, i get irritated.
I am bringing popcorn this time. You make cocktails before Anshu bans alcohol😆
