It is a good chance to share my views here for the 1st time. 😃

This topic has been disturbing me since a long time. This is why I am asking..

Are we free?

What's freedom?

Many ppl think they are free, because the have the right to do and say the things they want. But is this for real?

Freedom comes with responsibilities too. You can't take your freedom on the cost of the others. If everyone thinks of freedom from his pov it may stir a chaos.

You can't also force others to adopt your views, times are changing but still there is suppression by the majority over the minority. Surprisingly , sometimes it is the opposite. Majority has to sit down and listen to the minority in order to look open minded and democrats.

I some places of this world women are forbidden to wear the dresses which they feel more comfortable wearing, like: hijab. Footballers in Europe got punished for refusing to wear the rainbow colors. If we can't say a word against injustice happening in Palestine (Israel) otherwise we may be called anti Semitic. Where gone those human rights and freedom of speech then?😳

If someone can't go against what you believe, or has his own belief so what is the meaning of freedom?

So what do you think fellows? Plz share your views.😳

No, obviously we aren't as long as we are living.

But if one starts to define what "free" should include, we could establish freedom, and again - of course - a freedom that depends on where and how we live.

Talking/writing about freedom is better done with specific examples, I think.... philosophical/sociological/psychological essaies tend to get boring.

In addition, feeling/being free and/or having freedom actually isn't the same, neither.

You can chew it as long as you wish, but the fact that you have no idea means that you have your doubts, na? Specially we women it is too difficult to say that we are free.😒

Great idea.⭐️

I know. I just wrote my thoughts and what I feel strong about it. Essay needs more examples and informations indeed.

In addition, feeling/being free and/or having freedom actually isn't the same, neither.

I need to think about this too. 🤔

Thank you for the reply.

No one can be free

There will always be terms and conditions.

Freedom is not 100% & shouldn't be

Bcoz Humans tend to misuse it.

But at times we in name of freedom people r suppressed and many times people tend to overlook the freedom and rights they have.

Thank you for sharing your opinions.

And yes. Freedome shouldn't be 100%. Many times there can be conflict between eaveryone's rights and another's.
