Hi guys…

You have received an opportunity to go abroad and earn in dollars and pounds. Every one will not miss this opportunity but can't we earn in India…or our own country… I will agree that we might not get the same pay packet but being with family is one of the biggest asset.

1) Is it necessary to go and work abroad and live alone?

2) Leave your family and go is it easy? Esp. when u are married?

3) What responsibility child has when his father is far away from him and earning for his good education, meeting him once in 2 years?

Last one

4) If father is working abroad, will the child receive good guidance and will he/she be brought up well?

Cheers,

Ahmed

For all ur queries I have only one answer.....

U can live with what you can earn in India and u wl always be happy as u r near family.....

Earning just for being rich by oneself.... I wl never advocate.....

I am following the same trend though not earning in dollars or pounds... but I hv an ambition of not being rich but to start a manufacturing business in India and generate more employment.....

I can easily start my practice but dont want to do that as it restricts the number of employees and support to them

Apparently you're saying that one should stay in one's home country and make do as best as one can.

But you yourself are in Thailand and are trying to earn money to setup a manufacturing industry in India!!

I just said.... going abroad for self enrichment by keeping everyone related unhappy is not right.....

I am in thailand and not happy at all but I am here not for self enrichment.... I have different ambitions than just becoming rich by myself😃

1) Is it necessary to go and work abroad and live alone?

Neccessary --?

I am a graduate in a industry that is considered one of the richest in the world, Indian company dealing has revenue's worth more than 15b and is(edit: sorry now is a WAS) the one of the rare money making Public sector organizations in India. After graduating with honors as only one of the 40 in the whole country, you realize this organization is only hiring minorities(has been the case for 20 years now). The private sector companies are only allowed to hire people who have experience in the field.

The choices are get out of the field where you spent thousands getting an education or leave the country, If u try to get to another field, you will be faced with a wise-ass who says "hey you have no formal education😆 in our field", so you cannot switch careers.

At this point your choices are sit and collect welfare checks or go out of the country.

At the same time, if you go out of the country, all people care is, are you able to deliver? we really done care how much of a "formal education" you have in the field.

Would you prefer to live in India or abroad?

Face it, India is too education minded and has "Zero value" for labor. Now after the IT boom, India has slowly come to realize education is really not the "be-it-all"(refers back to your thread, Is Education Important)

As to the second part of your question, If you have not established yourself in a career, have no future, and want to make one, it is better to travel light(and alone😉)

2) Leave your family and go is it easy? Esp. when u are married?

Normally in India, this is kind of fool-proof, you generally do not get married till you at least get some sort of settlement in life. If you lost a job after getting married and cannot find one in India after that, then that makes sense, But I have lived with people who have been thru this, as fun as it sounds turns into a living hell, and eats into any self respecting human being

3) What responsibility child has when his father is far away from him and earning for his good education, meeting him once in 2 years?

If the father(I would say parent) is not able to provide for the same education abroad then fine, if not if it is just a cannot not maintain, I usually think, "sambhal nahi sakte to paida kyu karte ho"

Last one

4) If father is working abroad, will the child receive good guidance and will he/she be brought up well?

Both parents are needed, unless offcourse neccessary, as stated above, there are kids who have grown up away from parents who turn out to be very fine human beings, only problem, they end up calling someone else "Papa-mummy"

Cheers,

Ahmed

This situation gets worser as India sinks into the reservation crisis, we can all cry brain drain, but this is the future for us Indians and the future generation, unless there is some serious rethinking on what kind of politicians we elect
