Religion of peace strikes again.

Funny how every time there is a terrorist attack, the Muslims come out to play the victims, concerned more about defending Islam than anything else. Quite disgusting really.

What is the point of playing then if it's not about winning or losing? So weird. Video games are weird.

Btw, so interesting to see Cong desperately trying it in UP . With rumours about Rahul marrying a UP girl in Aug to now fielding 80yr old Shiela Dixit as the face. They know the Muslims won't vote for them because that share goes to Mulayam or Mayawati. So they be targeting the upper castes of UP which are BJP's base.

Narsimha Rao probably be a very underrated PM.Was reading his book and just crazy to think he actually picked opposition leaders for high profile positions in his Govt- a first ever incident. UP got to him too though.

This thread is growing. And it's not just some vapid conversations; most of them could make great debate topics if given a proper structure.

It's possible that
a) not many people are interested in serious, formal, arguments anymore
b) people may have developed shorter attention spans / ADD
c) Instead of jumping from thread to thread, they would like everything to be under one umbrella
d) there are too many things to talk about, that you can think about any one thing for only so much time
e) people are apprehensive that the topics they create may not garner that many replies/views

I think this is the "future" of DM.

In my opinion along with concerns about views/replies, a debate thread feels intimidating. A chat has a more casual informal aura to it. It is just a conversation and people do not feel pressure. A chat also allows for room to meander into other topics or change the subject without a rap on the wrist from mods.

Not just DM, I think it is the future. I see many people nowadays engaging in small talk and dinner table conversations about issues, but avoid diving into a debate or deep discussion.

*Raises hand* for b,c,d and also to me it seems Debate threads fail to have a decent conversation about topics usually. CC is more engaging because the "air of " besting each other is comparatively lesser. I also feel CC means, you can have different views about different issues but it is flexible enough for posters to not whelp or hold grudges because you literally move on to the next topic and be normal again. 😆

Actually scratch all that, we are too lazy to start a debate and current threads deflate whatever motivation there could be.

Let's not fool ourselves. Salman Khan *was* the driver. But we have as much proof as the attorney who lost. You can't fault the prosecution though; key witnesses were eliminated..But, to your question, if that was an intentional mowing down of people, and if it was established that the perpetrator had verifiable links to a known terrorist organization, and if during the mowing down of innocents there were medieval cries of "Allahu Akbar" and such chanted by the perpetrator, then yeah, that would have been considered terrorism.

Similar to people reading tweets instead of news articles to keep up with current affairs.

Similar to single screens going out of business replaced by multiplexes.

I do not think drunk driving should be compared with mass terrorism.
Yes, life is life and is precious - but there is a huge difference between negligence and malice.

I'd just like to point out to you that the person who killed 84 innocent loving people
Ate pork, drank alcohol, took drugs, had sex when not married and abused his ex wife' his cousin stated he is not a Muslim but a sl*g

Anyone can be born a Muslim but what makes u a real practising Muslim is if u follow the rules which without a doubt he didn't

Eating pork, doing drugs, drinking alcohol, sex before marriage, abusing a women, killing people... All fully against Islam and a major sin

I just thought I'd let You know but knowing from your previous post I know you don't give a shit but I'd thought I'd let you know some real facts

P.s: my prayers go to all the people who have lost their precious lives and to all who have been affected by this tragedy. RIP ❤️
