Stop corrupting the English language. If your argument about Hinduism and its attitudes to others, then find another word other than secular. That word is already taken!

BTW talking only about hinduism in this way is running away from the debate of what kind of society India should be - secular or non-secular.

I am strong vegetarian hindu yet i believe we need to be secular, sometime suck up to minorities not because i am trying to be an hypocrite just that i feel minorities are integral part of our identity just like blacks are to the US. but get your and others point where we dont know how much appeasing is just too much... !

What is there to corrupt ? and where did i use word secular, new popular word is sickular now .
Ghar waapsi is equal to missionaries or mullahs converting people so that claim is gone now .
Fortunately i don't live in middle eastern countries to wanting to be living in a non-secular society but have seen and hated appeasement of any type .

I was challenging holychicken who used the word secular, and the word is used in the title of the original post. The word secular has a clear well established meaning and has been around for a while. It is improper to distorts its meaning to suit one's own ends. If the reference was not made by you why are you taking offence?

I'm sorry. Whoever created this question hasn't really understood the meaning of the word secular. Secularism means not pertaining to any one religion. Being equal to everyone.
And hence my dear, wherever you put religion, secularism goes away. No religion is secular per say. But all religions teach brotherhood and hot-potato-of-the-hour-word 'tolerance'
