The PM is sedning a chaddar to Ajmer Sharif on Barack Obama's behalf.
What a slap on collective Indian faces when this man was responsible for Muslim rule in India. After this India could only become independent from foreign rule in 1947.

Muhammad Ghori's spy Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti's Sufi followers poisoned the lake waters ( Pushkar lake and Anagasar lake) from which Prithviraj Chauhan's army elephants, horses and camels drank, as was standard warfare tactics in the deserts ( poisoning the oasis waters ) .
The lakes had to be emptied out manually due to rotting fish and the animals were weakened due to dysentry, when Ghori had to be battled.

Its the propaganda spread by liberal government that its their duty to preserve the right and belief of minorities, and if they take a stand for hindu's, either they will be termed as communal or they are bullying the weak and poor minorities.

Its known in the history most Hindu temples and scriptures were destroyed by mughal yet they didnt take any initiative to restore them after independence and even if they try to do so, they have fear of riots.

Most hindu know Gyanvapi Mosque was built destroying Kashi Vishwanath temple http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gyanvapi_Mosque , Adhai din ka Jhonpra was built on destroying Sanskrit college and Varaha temple or the Qutub minar that was built with temple after destorying 27 temples, and famous Ram temple (Babri Masjid) issue, yet government is helpless and they are scared what media will call them next. Here are the other list of temples destroyed by Aurangzeb http://www.hindunet.org/hindu_history/modern/temple_aurangzeb.html

Now government is more concerned as preserving it as national heritage rather then reconstructing them back to hindu temples. Muslim invader Muhammad of Ghor tomb now has become national heritage of India. Why don't the government consider British officer cemetery as national heritage of India ?

With politicians, journalists and even aam aadmi condoning and eventually becoming an Adarsh Liberal, what else can we expect?
RSS becomes a terrorist organization while Lashkar-e-Taiba is just a sectarian organization. (A statement made recently by a Congress leader)

Ghazi used to be the Muslim who killed a Hindu ruler but nobody feels the name Ghaziabad should be changed.

If things go this way, we might as well forget that the Ram Mandir would ever be made.

Anyway, it's not going to change our day to day lives but just give the majority community a sence of satisfaction that our beliefs, our religion, our interests and we too are given some consideration in this secular democracy.

In the name of secularism, hindu's have been cheated Britishers became invader and Mughals became family ? Cities and State name given by Britishers are changed but they can't change the name after the mughal emperor. They can give protection to preserve the existing tombs or mosque which were once built destroying hindu's temple and now called National heritage of India. If they want to preserve those mosque or tomb thats good but at the same time, why can't government work on restoring temple that were destroyed by the so called religion of peace.

There is a problem when the Indian Muslims forget the history of their forefathers and how they converted due to torture.
It's not a question of secularism for me. We had asked the govt to bring back Prithviraj Chauhan's grave from Afghanistan where the visitors kick it with a shoe.

Instead we get this. As an Indian, my heart burns at this not because of appeasing anyone but because this "saint" was responsible for India becoming a slave first to the Muslims and then the owner of the British East India Company.

The British East India Company was a private company and no, the owner was not the British Queen. But do our history books ever tell us this simple fact?

Some posts here are disturbing.

What do you mean by "reconstructing" Hindu temples?

You want people to change their beiiefs? Label everyone as a convert?

It is not right to avenge past in the present.

Sorry but this thread seems communal.

Not really. We aren't talking about conversion here. I certainly don't believe in that. Let people practice their beliefs peacefully. I was merely stating the general apathy for the majority community since Independence and why Hindus feel Ram Mandir is important for them.

The TM stated something about Khwaja Moiuddin Chishti. I am not convinced about that view yet. I am doing my part of the research to see for myself.

I don't know where the avenging part comes from.

I don't think Modi sent the chaddar on behalf of his new BFF Obama. He sent that on his own government's behalf through Abbas Naqvi. US government sent another one to Chisti foundation through the US embassy.

Of course these are political gimmicks that everyone in power has to pull off. I don't see much reason to be bothered by such things.
