I have tried several times to go away but then came back. Though I dont have those reasons to come back anymore to be honest I am still unable to leave. Its not like I have any friends that I talk to. Its mostly time pass.
Is farewell to forum possible?
Will you be able to stay away?
What is that hold you when you decide to leave?
How will you deal with that if you had to leave?

yeah, it's possible to get away from the forum. You just need to find a vacation spot with no electricity, no phone lines, no wireless connectivity, no satellite. I think they got an igloo or two like that in Antarctica😆

Yes it is possible, at least for a short while. I use a software called Self-Control 😆 No seriously (http://selfcontrolapp.com/) That is the only way I can get any work done! Then I also ask my friends to scold me if they see me online!

I can't stay away for long. I have a very small attention span, so I need to take micro breaks to stay focused on my work.. and guess what I do during my micro break! 😆

My friends. Can't spend a day away from them!
I had left the TV forums and moved completely into the Chat Clubs, when I came across this forum. This place is super addicting!

Simple, never leave! 😊

The Internet is glorious and a curse!! 😭

If you really want to wean yourself off IF put away your laptop, smart phone, tablets etc and go and do real life, useful things 😆.

I should really follow my own advice...

This actually does work!
I still remember that one weekend when I switched off my phone, left my laptop at home and spent the weekend at a cabin by a lake with friends. That was after about a month of almost no sleep and continuous deadlines ..!
But yes, once in a while it is important to do that to remain sane!

I think until I met you guys, I have gone days without logging into IF.. But since you guys came into my life, I login almost everyday, well except recently when I logged in only for 5 minutes one day at our new home and stayed completely away from IF .. woohoo!

Thank You dear friends. I have read all posts since my last so dont think you wasted your time.
This was very helpful. In the end the nature of new age is such that one cannot really say farewell to computer and internet and therefore virtual presence. Once you move in life and once you have many other things to do or be busy with then you will lessen your presence. There is no solution needed.
I am exiting this topic lol. take care.

Yes.

Yes and No. Yes when I'm very busy. No when I've free time, I browse IF then tempted to comment somewhere.

Nothing. That's why I leave.

When I'm busy I leave and nothing holds me back. I'm indifferent to most of the things written here. When I've time, I comment.
