So, if the reason we are slower than light is because we have mass and the reason we have mass is because we interact with Higgs field, and light doesn't, shouldn't we understand what Higgs field is all about and how we should overcome interacting with it, in order to be "light-like"?

At microscopic scales, shouldn't we "discard" gravitational effects? If gravity is all about attraction, then at the particle level, how is that attraction manifesting?

I guess this is where the singularity bites us. A microscopic universe less than 1 Planck length in size, with infinite gravity!

Gravity existed before the onset of the particles ( Supergravity = 1 Force in nature) ... While strong force and weak nuclei came at 10 ^ -43 - 10 ^ -32 . So what caused the attraction ? ,infinite gravity and temperature? ..The first fluctuations? The gravitons? Right ? <<<< This is the key. We won't know nothing unless we solve the mystery behind gravitons and the exact nature and the matrix of gravity is known.

FT will ask you where in the body it exists, so be prepared 😆

And I won't even attempt to persuade FREE that there existed a state called Shunyaksha ..😆 ...He won't agree to that unless Einstein hits his dreams and affirms that ..😆 ...AUM is the first ever vibration at the time of creation. Truly the scriptures is one amazing means to get past the veil of mystery...

I think this is where the holographic universe theory gains credence. Perhaps the universe is inside of a black hole, smeared all across the event horizon?

The guys who recorded the noise of big bang got a Nobel prize.

Just saying.

You are absolutely right ...And I also agree that we need to create a superpositioned model of the universe ( Or Multiverse may be.. ) rather than making wild guesses of how singularity popped into an unknown void from another Universe through an imaginary gateway..😆 ..But the same old problems..I mean the speed of light and subtle gravity..Breaching that is frustrating ..and impossible as it seems ...they create the hindrance in such endeavors ..So we actually can't get there unless by some magical means we stop interacting with the bosons momentarily and go travelling in those other unknown infinite directions ( As per the M string ..) and can return back after a while (ALIVE) ...😆

Um ...But if that's the case ..I guess the smearing should be even at all points ..And also there has to be outwards burst of emission ( A real massive and time bound in nature) that we should be able to capture ...I too subscribe to the holographic principal ..But then I realize that there is this galactic Redshift that we can't ignore, which leads us to singularity ...Right ?
A black hole ? ..Or something else that has the same properties? That's unknown to us? May be another Universe ? that causes all entropy..

The idea of bringing in ANOTHER universe to explain the existence of this one, bugs me a little.

I think it goes without saying that ALL possible answers are troubling to the mind.

The possibility that physical can exist by itself is troubling. The possibility that something else, something exotic, can have a phase shift which gave way to the physical, is troubling. The fact that anything comes into existence, anything at all, just like that, for no rhyme or reason, out of the blue, even if it means we rewind time back some 14 billion or so years, is troubling. No-thing is the only word that won't be troubling but that is not a possibility, because, here we are, with our ugly behinds and all.

When in doubt, or when sufficiently challenged, I think we should *always* bring up the dreaded QM :)) It is our only friend, philosopher and guide. Al for a good reason.

Some philosophers of yore didn't have luxury of falling back on QM. If they did, there wouldn't be too many debates on physicalism, dualism, materialism and so on.

It is a wave and a particle. The particle is the physical as we understand it. The wave is the nonphysical. The wave and the particle are superpositioned. And the world is entangled. I think these are indisputable.

All debates and questions concerning the physical and the nonphysical should consider this as the backdrop before proceeding further.

Yes, it well might be the meeting ground for science and spiritualism.
