When in doubt, or when sufficiently challenged, I think we should *always* bring up the dreaded QM :)) It is our only friend, philosopher and guide. Al for a good reason.

Some philosophers of yore didn't have luxury of falling back on QM. If they did, there wouldn't be too many debates on physicalism, dualism, materialism and so on.

It is a wave and a particle. The particle is the physical as we understand it. The wave is the nonphysical. The wave and the particle are superpositioned. And the world is entangled. I think these are indisputable.

All debates and questions concerning the physical and the nonphysical should consider this as the backdrop before proceeding further.
