Well Joe, I guess you are just a metrosexual homo-sapien. You give skin care tips and tend to nag/yak like an annoying wife. 😆

Maybe this Christmas, I should ask you to be my wife. 😛

I accept. 😳

Grr that's another thing I hate about winter. Even with creams et all its so hard to keep the skin and lips hydrated. Makes me feel like Medusa.

Combination of - get plenty of vitamin C, drink plenty of fluids even if you don't feel thirsty that often, keep a chap stick handy, smother your lips with chapstick before you go to bed and then in the morning just rub off the dry skin. I use the chapstick made out of bees wax. It works best:)
This one I learned from my mom. Trust me - it works. Before you call it a day, put a drop of oli - any oil - in your tummy button. I t helps.
Last, but not the least, there are some good quality lip balms that come with scrubbing granules - you are suppposed to rub the balm on your lips to scrub away the dry layer. They work wonders too.

You have to put the drop while either sitting down or leaning back so that it rests on your tummy button and gets absorbed. Even outies have that crease towards outside that can absorb the oil.

Try it for 3-4 days in a row and then let us know:) You can use an ear bud immersed in oil to put that drop in.

Weird. Really, in the belly button? 😕 But sounds easy enough. Worth trying.

@Souro, its my fault - we had a massive dry cold snap over the weekend and I was unprepared for skin care. Now come Monday I have terribly chapped lips and skin. It will take a while to repair.

I usually try to carry beeswax chapstick. I need to buy more. Seem to have misplaced all mine over the summer and fall. But I have to keep using chapstick like all the time. My skin gets abnormally dry, faster than most people.
