Tis the season. Winter Solstice is fast approaching. The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer. And as the sun sets every night and stars stud the deep blue velvet of the night sky like a dazzling array of diamonds, Old man winter sends his mighty winds through, thunderous and cold, whistling through the woods, chilling all creatures to the bone. But outside, after a cold dark winters night, a winter wonderland where fantasy can take flight.

So C'mon Up and Knock on the Door

Let's gather round the fireplace, lay on the soft rugs, huddle and stay warm. Nice N' Warm N' Toasty by the Fire.

We can have Chestnuts roasting in the fire, make ourselves some smores, open up a Festive tin of popcorn or have a festive holiday cake to devour. Cookies, Cupcakes, Brownies and all sorts of winter delights galore.

I had a back pain, so decided to bunk reopening. Guess what? schools and colleges cancelled due to heavy rain.

four full days plus today before another weekend arrives! Yeh weekends itnee der baad kyoon aatey hain? I wanna go home!

P.S. we put the christmas lights on this weekend along with the christmas tree. They look lovely in the cold dreary nights:)

Does anyone know a good remedy for dry chapped lips?

Grr that's another thing I hate about winter. Even with creams et all its so hard to keep the skin and lips hydrated. Makes me feel like Medusa.
