Door to the other side, G.

But don't push/pull the wrong doors. There's only one right one. Every other door is a trap door.

If I draw a bunch of lines on a piece of paper with a pencil, when do you consider real nullification happened? When all the lines are erased with an eraser and nothing is left on the paper? When all the lines are erased with an eraser plus the paper is gone? When all the lines are erased with an eraser plus the paper is gone plus the pencil and the eraser are gone? When all the lines are erased with an eraser plus the paper is gone plus the pencil and the eraser are gone plus the "I" is gone?If it's the last, then why bother going thru the prior steps? Why not start with the last step first?

Pen, paper, eraser, lines or blueprint of your dreamhome are not relevant to your higher mind.
I imagine nullification to occur just before our soul leaves the body.

I don't understand the concepts of "higher mind" and "soul".

Unfortunately our language is limited to the world we know for description of that which cannot be fully comprehended by human mind.
I think we all experience it every now and then but cannot understand or remember it always.

Hope you know that I don't have any intentions to put you on the spot.

With that, I would still like you to elaborate on how you would go about nullifying thoughts. My earlier question was metaphorical in nature, in the sense, the squiggly lines on the paper are memories, paper is the mind and I am who I am (even though I still don't know who that is). The pencil was the cumulative experience which made memories. The eraser, well, it's just a tool at my disposal. It could be contemplation, meditation, concentration, focus or any such device which keeps the memories (thoughts) at bay.

Going back to your higher mind and soul, perhaps it would be better if we deal with only 3 "things" moving forward. Body. Mind. Consciousness. I don't see any other concept taking precedence over these. To me, these are all encompassing.

Dharma is not an abstract concept or a fixed number. Dharma is general indicator of well being of society(world at large) and all its beings.
Like an index it goes up or down. Healthy social environment is vital for further growth of society. Compassion, honesty, knowledge, tolerance etc drives it up. Fear, insecurity and suspicion drags it down.
In Krishna's times there was nexus of bad rulers and individual growth and society were suffocated. Drastic measures were needed in such times to reverse the trend and the MB war was the only option left for Krishna.

incorrect comparison, my_view ! Its krishna & adharma .Just two of them , You have added a third element .
What i was getting at was that there appears to be an overdose of adharma already ! So how come no krishna yet ! If he s not here yet then perhaps the adharma needs to further grow to get him here ...

The "I" cannot be nullified if you define it as the ultimate reality and creator-

Why do people become so biased when it comes to religion or godly figures !!!!!
Its shame that we critise other peoples religion or faith when we cannot stick properly with ours !!!!!!
