Aww I simply adore Lord Krishna. He is just so adorable!
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare,
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare
Just thought I'd add this..sung by George Harisson (ex-beatles member and a devotee of Lord Krishna)

There's something about the way he sings that I like a lot..it sounds like it's right from the heart. 😳

Although consciousness is all the same we all have our preferences, guess it is the same sugar in different packagings. The gopis and the gopikas who were actually realised souls were reborn as playmates of Krishna. It is said that he appeared as a youthful kid and remained the same throughout his life. He had great poise and composure.Originally posted by: Midnight_Shade
The idea of Krishna consciousness fascinates me.
Religion is quite a big turn off for most people because of the persons promoting and pushing it.😆Originally posted by: Midnight_Shade
Yeah, I guess. I am very (very veryyyy😆) irreligious though. It's scary actually. And I'm not even atheist. Like, if someone is bashing hinduism, I could care less about it. I've seen some folks jumping in when their religion gets dissected, getting all het up, taking offense, fighting tooth and nail to say that so and so is not supposed to be this and so and so is not supposed to be that....so and so was taken out of context and whatever. There's just so much passion and fervor involved when it comes to religion.
Anyhoo, cutting to the chase, my mom was worried about my indifference towards religion. It's just that obvious even in real. lol..so, she's making me read English translation of Bhagavad Gita...I've set aside like half and hour or so in my everyday schedule to read that book. Being all religious like. 😆 That's where I got the Krishna consciousness from. I'm still getting the hang of the basic idea of consciousness though...it sounds interesting. But personally, I'm good with just "reading" them ....I'd never wanna reach the state of consciousness for real. Consciousness indicates perfection....and perfection would bring things to standstill. And the thought of things coming to a sudden halt is just not right.
I think Shree Krishna is a greatest rebel and revolutionary at that period😊
