Big Guy? Santa Claus? 😛

Now you have to determine if faith is a matter of the heart or mind.

The way I see it, you don't seek the force, you feel the force. The force is always with you. Vishwaroopa is the absolute manifestation of the force. The unending universe and everything within. Krishna consciousness is being one with the force.

Why doth the heart search the world, for what lies within?

Heart is just another organ. So is brain. So are the others inside the body.

If you had said, "Why doth the mind search the world, for what lies within?", I would tend to agree; however, at this point, there are too many variables and too many equations that need to be reconciled before we (I) could make a sweeping statement like that. As a premise though, it does make sense to me.

Alright considering the heart and brain are both organs within the human body, I give you that. So much for poetic statements. 😆

Now then what is the mind? Where within the body does the mind reside?

So, is that how you roll? From reciting poetry to asking one of the hardest questions ever posed?

To be honest, I am not aware of how I roll yet. But since you brought up the philosophy of the mind, next to the poetry of the heart - you made me curious for answers.

Stay curious then. I am on it (the question you posed) like white on rice.

Frankly I do not know where faith comes from but logically it has to be the heart because the individual mind is made up of desire and thoughts and ego. But I believe the spiritual heart is also the seat of the universal mind; Yes the Force, the spiritual heart and the universal mind are all one and the same and they are all infinite. Individual mind is the seat of the individual ego I guess.
Pure consciousness is one and the same in all and there are many lovely names to describe them; eg Atma Rama, Hurdaya nivasi, Sada Siva, etc.
Concept of Santa Claus is also some Superior Being who keeps giving and never asks anything in return.

Mind is considered as a faculty of the soul and as such it is non physical therefore has no particular place of residence in the body. Through the mind one thinks, imagines and forms ideas. To my mind this is all that occurs at the moment.

Anyways ... I dont like the picture you put of Krishna in the previous page (your last post there, on pg 13). He is potrayed in a very girlish way in it ... I dunno, just felt like saying it.

I note the points you made.
Lotus Temple ,yes looks nice.
As to pictures of Krishna I have never found one that truly matches what I am looking for. The best image is our own mental image.
