How can you believe in stereotypes when you don't even allow yourself to form impressions?

Mene aapka kya bigad diya?😕😆
but ya, since I am on DM, I should be ready with my arms and ammunitions if thats what DM duty calls for😆.
I try not to form impressions as you don't see what goes behind each action. Basically I believe in "all human beings are humans" in that philosophy. Rest is all circumstantial.

^^^^ I was a bit intrigued reading two thoughts that were poles apart from you toh poochh liya😆

Okay - when you meet someone for the first time - don't they leave any impression at all on you? What kind of boring folks do you come across, Gunjan😆 That actually reflects pretty badly on the ones you interact with. Aisa bhi koi kitnaa maamooli hoga ki koi bhi impression na chhod paye tsk tsk tsk 😆

kya karu Di, I only see and meet boring people whom I can't even think of as boring people😆
On a serious note, I do form certain impressions but only if I have known that person for quite sometime as I do define some of my friends as hard-working or with a great sense of humor and my hubby, he is very loving. But I don't form the impressions around the traits I don't know much about. I learnt my lesson.
I hope akaana is not visiting DM or she will kill and bury me right here😆

ahhh. I see. I still remember that exchange between the two of you clearly😆

Well, whether you admit it or not, people do leave a first impression even during the birefest of encounters. That impression, however, does not mean it stays true even after we get to know them. First impressions are the reason why folks spend big bucks on clothes and personality enhancing products. I feel it's really hard to not notice any of those attributes during our meetings.

As far as stereotyping is concerned - we all do it to some extent. It's human nature to try to simplify things. Stereotyping does keep things simple for folks - they don't have to think too much before forming an opinion😆 The society has already done the base work for them😆

I think its very important to form certain impression about some people. Otherwise, people can cheat, etc.

In general when I see that one of my friend is cheating or revealing secrets of others then I become vary of that friend. People who do wrong things tend to do them often even when it comes to us.

Its not that just because we think that they are our friend they wont do that to us.

So what is the stereotype of those people who cant keep a secret? I never tell them even a single word about anything very important.

Lol!, one guy, who disperses even insignificant words that he listens, was justifying that he does that because he always speaks truth. Then one day he told me that there is this gal who is very bad because she cant keep the secret. Oh, the irony!
