Salman/Dharmesh?

I did not watch season 1 of DID but I heard that Salman was the winner. I was wondering if Salman got a lot of air time like Dharmesh and also had silly antics like bad english and the thing he had with Saumya in the beginning like Dharmesh does. I just wanted to know if that was link to see if the show is rigged and Dharmesh will be the winner.. because I know they do not have any antics for the other contestant this season on DID 2!

but i love him to death i think hes the shakti of this season

Urmm.. both in their own ways ! .. I can't pick one..

Salman was kind of all rounder.. good looking guy and public loved him.. did gave some mind blowing performances.. he was not as talented as some of other contestants but he had charisma that made him the winner..

So far Dharmesh has given good porformances and he is talented too .. but he is not charismatic as Salman may be that's why all this sowmya's love delcartion and bad English just to capture more TRP for him..

If given choice I want Shakti or Amrita wins this time.. in boys may be Amar.. Remo does not hv a winner this time..

No air time? How many times did they show him and his family? I still remember how his little brother wanted to be like prince. His sisters and all got a lot of air time too. So I would hardly say he never had any air time. Even in limelight, there was a lot of time devoted to him when his family gave him a surprise.

When I think of other contestants like Mayuresh, the only air time he got was when his mum and dadi came on the show and his dadi said she wanted to find a good girl so she could marry him off. 😆 Jai was always very underrated and not given much air time at all. Same with alisha and vrushali. Even with contestants like prince and siddesh, nothing was edited in the little spat about P+L and again more air time to the 2 contestants.

The hype may not have been as obvious as it is this season, but I think it wouldn't be right to say salman never got ANY air time cos he probably got the most.

Oh yes, Salman was the most hyped contestant in DID-1, and a bunch of us here predicted he will be the winner, seeing all the hype, and we were proven right!! LOL.... Almost in every episode, they showed Salman's family, especially his Mom and Dad, and how he loves his Mom and how he chokes when talking about her, and how he owes everything in life to her, blah blah... And they gave him extra air time with his family coming to visit him at the training studio and gave him a surprise that he was very emotional..!! If it was a surprise, how come all the masters and the camera crew was ready to shoot it?? LOL... In fact I think Salman was even more hyped than Dharmesh, and always showed the audience cheering for him, and he never had eye contact with the camera!!

LOL i guess I-F isnt a salman supporter club Lol oh well I love that boy with all my heart hes probably the sweetest i know he still treats his fans with all the love and respect he did when he was on the show [yes im his nu. 1 fan]

and he never did anything stupid like speak broken english so they showed his family big deal they are kinda going that with shakti too they always show her parents in the audience [dont get me wrong I LOVE SHAKTI and i want her to win i just think the whole showing salman's family isnt overhyping]

Shakti's parents got a few lines when she did the wheelchair dance with vandana but that's about it. They show everyone's parents, infact I think they show Punit's brother every few seconds smiling in the audience hehe. But the amount of air time given to him and his family and how he was such a mummy boy and couldn't live without his mum and all those emotional scenes were so not needed but they added to all the hype. Almost all contestants are very grounded and humble, but that doesn't mean they all deserve to be the winner. 😳

It's pretty damn easy to manipulate the audience. Infact even I will admit my heart went out for Kruti when she was upset about her dad and felt proud of her for getting so far so yes, it definitely has an influence on the voting pattern. What can I say..we Indians are emotional and sensitive people. 😛

^^@Taz - I know you love Salman, and I didnt mean to offend his fans. I was only telling the truth and how I felt watching the show last season. They didnt just show his parents sitting in the audience!! They were given air time too in most of the episodes to talk, and for Salman to salute his Mom, then go and hug her, etc... They portrayed him as a very loving son towards his mother... But I am sure all the other contestants also adored their mothers just like he did, but were never shown or given air time for them... They showed Vrushali's, Paulson's, Prince's, Siddhesh's, etc parents only when the contestants mentioned that their parents are sitting in the audience. They never showed their parents coming to visit them and giving them a surprise!! They also never showed Bhawana and Khushboo's mother who was sitting in the audience every single time... So there was indeed a different treatment for Salman, whether you agree or not... And it's that hype that made me not support him...
