It doesn't take a lot to find out who the most popular actor on the whole of IF is (if you really don't know..it is Karan Singh Grover) and despite the HUGE amount of votes he received from his crazy fans, he still lost out and was a runner-up. So the number of votes don't always reflect the favourite.

Baichung Bhutia did not deserve to win...he couldn't even dance properly, the only reason he got good marks was because of his choreographer. He got so many votes based on popularity and also based on the fact that he was representing India in football.

And is KSG the most popular actor on IF...seriously? Why? I don't understand. He wasn't the runner-up though, he was 2nd runner-up and he didn't deserve to win either. The person who did deserve it...well had a lot of controversies surrounding them...

haha what a joke...Salman never got any air time..ppl were so jealous of his look...the dude was amaizing at dancing..he danced all the styles and he was also looking good...and janta voted for him..

If Salman got air time it was because he was the best, he was highly versatile. He was very graceful dancer, best in salsa. Good looking, well educated(Engineer) and well mannerred. He did not need love story or poor english aspect. If people say his family was shown on camera, whose family was not shown on camera. This year we see Shakti's parents multiple times in a show, same going with Punit. If family members are in studio then they would be shown. I do not give attention to these non-sense execuses for putting down somebody, but I remember Jai's family was also shown on TV, same went with Ranchi ki Rani. And tell me is there any reality show where family members are not shown. I do not consider showing family members on TV as hyoing a contestants. Is talking about Amar's birth problem, his parents talking about past hype? I do not think so. Talking about Shakti's leg problems etc are hype? I dont think so.

Salman did not any gimmick to hype him, his personality, manner and dance was enough to make him the winner. A dancer can not win title with hype, most f the time hyping impact negatively in voting. But good looks, personalities, humbleness, manners touch voters/fans more than the love story etc.

Oh yes, Salman was the most hyped contestant in DID-1, and a bunch of us here predicted he will be the winner, seeing all the hype, and we were proven right!! LOL.... Almost in every episode, they showed Salman's family, especially his Mom and Dad, and how he loves his Mom and how he chokes when talking about her, and how he owes everything in life to her, blah blah... And they gave him extra air time with his family coming to visit him at the training studio and gave him a surprise that he was very emotional..!! What will you say about showing Amar's birht story and how his name changed to Amar from Kunwar? What about Shakti's parent showing on the camer multiple times a day and Shakti's leg story blah blah blah... Talking about Punit and his love for his brother? If all these things are hype then I agree Salman was hyped and in other word everybody is hyped so there no need to discuss Dharmesh being hyped. Topic should be closed. People were just jealous of Salman good look and his mannerism, and still could not come out of his win. Lot of people said his manners was coated but they forgot he was well educated. It is never a fault of contestants, everybody is given time but mostly edited because that is not maketable. Dharmesh is getting air time for non-sense reason that is why it looks wrong but Zee may be finding that hype more marketable. Ho sakta hai Zee ko Dharmesh se sahi koi mila hi nahin to chalo Andhe mein Kana Raja, Dharmesh ko hi hype kar do.

Shakti's parents got a few lines when she did the wheelchair dance with vandana but that's about it. They show everyone's parents, infact I think they show Punit's brother every few seconds smiling in the audience hehe. It's pretty damn easy to manipulate the audience. Infact even I will admit my heart went out for Kruti when she was upset about her dad and felt proud of her for getting so far so yes, it definitely has an influence on the voting pattern. What can I say..we Indians are emotional and sensitive people. 😛

Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder. Assuming somebody deserving or non-deserving is matter of personal choice. A contestant is always favorite for his/her fans. If a contestant has more fans(fans who can spend money in vote, not kanjoos fans..) become winner. Generally Kanjoos fans rely on online voting which is never been counted in any reality show. Online voting is just a candy to keep viewers interested in the show. Zee is for business, not for charity. Nothing comes for free.

Nope Salman def didn't get as much as Dharmesh is! Dharmesh is only getting it because he is a teacher and teaches students. Other wise I don't even think there would be any hype or anything over him...Its only because he runs classes!

Salman was promoted heavily by Zee, although there were no silly antics...They had that going for Rakhi, who got eliminated very early in the game. Theyalso tried to do it for Ma ka ladla Mangesh, who also got eliminated early.

I truly believe that Dharmesh is not the one who decided to profess his love to Soumya. Zee made him do it. Same with the bad-english hype. I don't think he enjoys being ridiculed on national TV.

Since when did the expectation of every single Indian to know english arise?? I mean, realistically speaking, i doubt if even 50% of India can speak fluent english. And what's wrong in not knowing to speak in english?? GRRRR..... 😡 This whole thing irritates me.

Coming to Salman, the guy won the game only for his stage persona. You'll never know what a guy's like until you are close enough to say he is "the most noble of men". It was all a facade, imo. Tailored to woo the voters. i don't believe when it comes to reality shows. It's all scripted and acted out very well by the participants.

Guys I'm pretty sure Dharmesh knows how to speak proper English. Its all natak and dramabazi!!!!!
