Why did such an awesome show get low trps?

Hi guys...I have been watching this show since tge first episode and just love it...now that the show is going off air I really dont understand what Indian television audience actually want .

Dahleez is a spectacular show. It has a brilliant script, amazing screenplay and execution and of course an extremely brillliant cast. Each character has left its impact on the viewers. The best part is that the show never merely concentrated on Swadarsh. Every character had their own part. The show has made everyone cry and smile.

I know that Dahleez is a finite show and dragging the story would make it lose its charm but it is sad to the see the show wrapping up in a hurry. It is sad to see new shows going off air after a very short time from their start. This is very unfair to the fans of these shows who are left with a kind of incomplete climax. The reason for this is usually the low trps.

But why is a show like Dahleez getting poor trps? Usually this kind of thing happens to youth centric shows focusing on friendships, dreams etc. But Dahleez is a complete package. It had almost every element a show requires in it. The show had at its heart a love story with love at first sight, one sided love, falling for each other, fighting for love etc. Again it had a social message. Terrorism, corruption and much more.The family element. The bonds between siblings, parents and children, couples , a woman living in the hope of getting her husband's love someday, a perfect bahu, a mother who has difficulty accepting her son's marriage to a girl unsuitable to her family and trying to stop her other son from doing the same and much more. The development of each character was brought out so well.

While the show is immensely popular online the trps have been low. Why? What kind of shows do we actually want?

I had the same question in my mind...

So I analysed the things around me,

and my survey said me, that there are 3 parts and now 4 parts in people who watches the Indian drama.

First -Hamare bade buzurg, jo Siya ke ram or any other mythological show dekhenge..
And Aunties -As well as saas bahu high voltage drama...

Second -The youth like us who manages time to see the different concepts.
but We are in less number.

Third -Jo youth interested hai but prefers online.

Fourth -The people, who are want to see supernatural things... that can't easily involve in this type of politics, and important topics... They want to leave in them jadui shakti ka mayajal.


Sorry, if any one hunted, but it's just my analysis...

And most important point,

timing... 10:30 ko kon jagega.Ku6 to sau jate honge..
but hamare jaise lovers jagte hai ha...

So, according the points, there are less people,who liked to see this on 10:30 pm...

Time slot is the biggest problem. Dahleez should be given a slot of 9:00 or 9:30 PM. But SP'a major shows YRKKH & DABH come at that time...

I disagree about timeslot, starplus shows get good trp in most time slots including 5:30pm 11pm etc and infact started a niche for various timeslots even 7pm/7:30pm was unpopular before sp shows

Another thing is shows like DAHLEEZ, TAMANNA, EVEREST, PYAR KO HO JAANE DO, MERI AWAZ HI PEHCHAN HAI...can't gather Trps. Coz these r fresh serials without saas-bahu or supernatural OTTness.

None of the above mentioned serials got higher TRPs coz they were content based.

Now people like SSK, SNS, Naagin over a DAHLEEZ. That's why shows like those keep going on & Dahleez ends..

Only anutigies watch it, because they are addicted

They never tried to see new besides that...
and even sp complaint box, uncles have problem from that type of serials. and demanded to close that type of drama...
but sp doesn't listen as usual...
sp only wants trp and leading in viewer list.

Answer is simple, most of the audiences are from lower middle class--- they like to watch saas bahu drama!! like sathiya is still running on with high TRps--- Any new drama with slightly different story fail miserable !! I am absolutely gutted 😡

Ohh dear!! Don't you know that along with saas-bahu crap now nagin,makkhi and gorilla's are in!!!
And people please stop calling it supernatural they're just pathetic shits..

well main reason acording to me is timing. Realy many youth follow this show all of them watch repeat telecast of the show. I am runing the lagest fb fan page of dehleez with 100k + fan Itz floded with message asking to change telecast timing from day 1. And middle of may they stop reapeat telecast of the show. But after 1 and half weeks channle had to find a time to telecast the show as they very floded with request on social media.. So they aird the show again at 3.30 pm.. Show mostly atracted young genaration and logical ppl.. Many liked the show as Itz not another saasi bahu show. Well i feel even they would have telecast it at 10.00pm we woud have get some trps.

sathiya is the biggest shock yaar.. There r ppl to watch that show. I always think what kind off who r watching that show? :P

Acc to me time slot was one prob & second was swa never transformed into a fly or a naagin & she was fighting the system instead of witches & black magic
