Rashmirathi is the name of the poem.

To me that poem is the main culprit of Karna Glorification we keep on seeing every now and then.

Oh, there is a whole bunch of culprits, & nowadays, the serials have piled on. This poem is by now nowhere near the top. In fact, even "traditional" serials like BR Chopra's Mahabharat & Ramanand Sagar's Shri Krishna glorified Karna to almost no end, even attributing to him things that he never did (like using the Vaishnavastra on Arjun, when it was Bhagadatta who did it)

Please, no more corridors! Innumerable number of 🛕 - most of them historic - get demolished in the process of "beautification". It's happened in Puri, it's happened in Varanasi and it's happened in Ayodhya, even to historic temples like "Sita ki Rasoi". Get government out of this business altogether, establish autonomous bodies that have no interest in anything other than dharmaic enhancement of their shrines, and let them decide what to do about the approaches to their shrines, & work w/ civic authorities to tweak those. Or maybe, like Disneyland, give them full civic authority in such pilgrim places like Ayodhya, Varanasi, Devbhoomi, Puri and so on

Truly speaking the way other community is behaving is just frustrating

Hume koi proof karne ki zarurat nahi fir bhi we are giving you proof after proof, but they're not respecting judicial system of India

Places of worship act unlogo ke liye faayde mand tha but humare liye fair nahi, our community never demolished their structure to built ours, we are reclaiming what was already ours.

Inlogo ko Shanti se de dena chahiye tha land after seeing so much proofs but instead their constant objection is making them more villainous in our society.

Agar koi religious value hold karta wo land tab the fight would have been at least fair but truth is Mughals invaded our land and destroyed our cultural heritages and we have proves of that, also everyone knows it to baaki sabse pehle the community which was victim of invasion multiple times wo kya chahti hai wo sun na fair hoga, we have proofs we have reason and we provided all that so we won fair and square right 🤷

You are right. That poem might seem very less now. But that was the start that opened the floodgates. I wonder what was the motivation behind that?

It wasn't even like the Era of Social Justice like we see in last few decades.

Did it precede Rabindranath Thakur's "Karna-Kunti sangbad" - a Bengali poem on their encounter? I do wonder when exactly did the glorification of Karna begin. But it seemed to have independently started from several nodes, who for various reasons thought that Karna was a wronged character in the epic
