This racism, discrimination was always there, it's not surprising at all that with social media, its being brought out in the public. And unfortunately Hindus themselves whether it's the general public or community leaders or politicians haven't actively done anything to break this stereotype. In fact the worst thing is the South Asian blanket that's used for stereotyping everything related to all countries in the subcontinent. There is no individual identity at all.
