Pune is a good choice for the time being IMO , a strong Pune team can have a United/City , Real Madrid/Atletico Madrid kind of rivalry with MI.

& most importantly i'll have a "home" team to support

Strange that all those opposing Amir didnt had a problem with a blatant chucker like Ajmal . Chuckers too demean a team. Atleast Amir has suffered a 5 year ban for his sin.

The problem lies with Pune. Why Pune? 🥱 Why not Cuttack, Ranchi or any east zone team?

That way each zone would have had 2 teams. I am sure there will be a team from Dharamshala before any team from east zone. 🤢

Virus, the question remains. Why Rajkot ahead of Motera or Baroda? Same state still gets a team. The explanation of Niranjan Shah makes sense.

I agree that Cuttack or Ranchi would have been ideal. Preferably MSD's Ranchi. But if MSD retires in a few years, that attraction is gone.

Two teams from the same state is an issue. Marathi support will either fall behind MI or now PR/RP. One of them will get 'starved' for support
