The bureau felt so off , it was a mix of the bureau during Beherupiya times and the huperrealistic bureau during 2015 episodes

I have absolutely no memory of behrupiya episode

I do watch old repeat episode

Some I watched recently I may remember

But past 17 yrs ka I don't remember

Plus I stopped watching at one point

I thought that they would pay homage to Freddy in that function of honoring the dead officers where ACP was in before the criminal got caught but that didn't happen....they didn't mention Freddy at all

Also the victim getting shot in train by a sniper sniper was the plot of an old episode "case of the hidden sniper" which aired in 2000

The terrace in which Avni finds the footprint and gun powder looked close to the terrace in case of the four Rinas

ACP sir in that function reminded me of Beherupiya for some reason

My theory was partially true.....Abhijeet did blame Daya for her death and that was why he "shot" him but he wasn't blamed for Freddy's death

Edit; just checked wiki and the hidden sniper episode was aired on 20th december 2000 that's exactly 24 years and 1 day before season 2 ep 1 returned with an almost similar storyline

Agreed with the rushed episode. When they showed the promo, I had expected that the Abhijeet-Daya conflict might be turned into a two episode series like they used to do last season. I mean it was such a strong topic... But no, they had to mix it with a random episode where such a strong sequence simply lost its charm. They should have shown it better.

I too am confused with the new guy's name... Tried catching it several times but every time, it sounded a bit different. 😅

Now, coming to similarities with previous cases... Frankly, similarities will always be found. Even in last season, towards the end, the episode scripts had materials picked up from older episodes. Nothing too surprising there. I'm sure there will be more such instances.

Locations too would be repeated... After all, each show has a specific shooting location. They can't access each and every building of Mumbai, right? Even in previous season, buildings used in CID and Adaalat used to be the same; specifically KD Pathak's office building was used as a location for several different episodes.

Behrupiya was one interesting episode with a tightly written script... With the writer being smart in making all three (Abhijeet, Daya and ACP sir) suspicious. That was an example of a well written episode.

I too stopped watching the show towards the latter half but it was only for a short while and it was because the cases had no heads or tail. It became a bit annoying.

Okay, so his name is Vraj... Couldn't they have come with a simpler sounding name like that Avni? Or the rest of the cast?

Also, did you manage to catch the name of the new Forensics lady?? I wasn't paying attention to her name so I didn't manage to catch it.

I do use metro at times.

Next time I use metro I will watch every nook and corner kahin se koi Sniper gun na aa jaaye

I found it funny like how was pankaj able to take the train back to the spot where she got shot? The train was moving at the speed of 2 miles per hr in that scene
