India's first single character thriller movie ready to hit theatres soon

India has once again proved that it is no less than other countries in terms of talent, intelligence, and innovation. The country is ready for the release of its first single-character thriller flick, Strawberry Point, which will be one among the 14 films of its kind.

The film is directed by Prabal Baruah, who gave a new angle to the Indian television industry through his shows like CID, Maano ya na Maano, Adaalat etc. The bilingual psychological thriller (to be released in English and Hindi) has six songs that are used as promotional tools.

Jassi Jaisi Koi Nhi famed Karan Oberoi is the confirmed face of the unconventional thriller and considers it to be the proudest moment of his career. "For me, it's the proudest and happiest moment of my acting career. It feels fantastic to get inscribed in the cinematic history books by being a part of this film. The feelings heighten up considering there are only 14 such films in the world-true to its genre- including Steven Spielberg's first, Karan said.

The Band of Boys vocalist had earlier tried his hand in music as well as Indian television, and Strawberry Point will be his debut movie. Speaking of the same he stated, "I couldn't have asked for a better entry into Bollywood. The English version of the movie will be made to release in the international markets. Hoping it makes us all proud.

Aditya Srivastav, who will also be a part of this movie, is the only name out as of now. It would be interesting to know who the other contributors are.

BTW why are they waiting to know the names of other actors if it is supposed to be a SINGLE CHARACTER movie?😕
