PM means Private Messenger. You can send and receive Private Messages between yourself and other forum members, knowing that your messages won't be viewed by other forum members.

You can PM someone by clicking on this and then going to "send new message". In the username field, type the username that you want to send a PM to and then type your message. Hope that clears everything.
