Scene 1
In a house, we see a man Vipul walking around tensed. His wife Kiran approaches and asks if he found out anything; he gets irritated and tells her to go away. The doorbell rings; Vipul forcefully sends Kiran inside and answers the door, only to find a wrapped parcel kept outside. He sneaks back inside, enters his room and locks the door. He opens the parcel and finds a revolver hidden under a layer a layer of sweets. Kiran arrives outside and starts banging the door demanding to know what happened. Vipul answers her rudely, drags her into her room and locks her in. Kiran desperately looks at the photo of a girl on the wall. Meanwhile Vipul packs the revolver in a bag and receives a call. He tells the caller that he's gotten the "gift", and is threateningly told to get to Jwala road. He exits the house.
Scene 2
Vipul arrives at the Jwala road and is ordered to get to the nearby docks. He's then told to shoot a man with a red cap standing there. Vipul is apprehensive but agrees to do it on a threat by the caller. He draws the revolver and takes aim, but just as he shoots a lady hurls herself in the line of fire to protect the would-be victim. She's hit by the bullet and collapses. The shocked and angry bystanders make a beeline for Vipul, who flees in terror into the nearby alleys. After a brief chase, he manages to get into an auto and escape from the mob.
Scene 3
Abhijeet sir, Freddy sir, Pankaj and Divya examine the lady's body. The bystanders explain what happened, and add that all three people involved in the incident - the killer, lady and red cap man - were new to the area and the killer seemed to be a rich man judging by his clothes. Abhijeet sir asks them to get the killer and red cap man sketched. Freddy sir remarks that it seems to be a case of personal enmity. Abhijeet sir wonders if the lady already knew the murder was going to take place, and says the rich man could've hired a killer to do the job instead of coming himself. He asks for the lady's photo to be sent to all police stations for identification.
Scene 4
An extremely nervous Vipul gets home and again locks himself in his room, before proceeding to pocket the revolver and pack a large amount of cash in a suitcase which he carries with him. He angrily pushes past Kiran, who was protesting outside the room. She loses control and starts breaking things in the house, until her brother and other relatives are attracted by the noise and try to calm her down. Meanwhile, Vipul quietly makes his exit. Kiran cries that Vipul always behaves like this without caring about her feelings. Her brother consoles her and says Vipul is a sensible who will surely take right steps.
Scene 5
Abhijeet sir and the others visit the locality of the killed lady Gajra, where the people explain she was a good person and her husband is a vagabond who squandered her hard-earned money on liquor, and as a result she got into the habit of stealing. The husband arrives and starts crying on being told of Gajra's death (as his source of booze is gone). Abhijeet sir sobers him up and shows him the sketches of Vipul and the red cap guy, whom he doesn't recognize. However one of the locals remembers having seen the red cap man meeting Gajra many times. Abhijeet sir feels this guy is in danger until the shooter is caught.
Scene 6
Abhijeet sir receives details about Vipul from Nikhil on phone, and visits his house where the family minus Vipul is having a meal. Kiran explains the Vipul isn't at home. Abhijeet sir says they're there to arrest him and asks Freddy sir and the others to check the house just in case. The family members introduce themselves, including Kiran's brother Hiten, Vipul's younger brother Sanket and their wives. Abhijeet sir explains how Vipul shot Gajra, though his real target seemed to be the red capped Mangesh, who was a murderer sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment. Reluctantly, they reveal that 10 days before Vipul and Kiran's daughter Roshini was kidnapped while returning from work. The kidnappers threatened them not to inform the police. Freddy sir wonders if the kidnappers made Vipul commit the murder. Vipul and Roshini's phones turn out to be switched off. Abhijeet sir asks Pankaj to find out what the last known locations of these two phones were. Kiran reveals that Roshini used to work at some call centre. Abhijeet sir orders Divya to keep an eye on the family members, while the rest of them leave.
Scene 7
In the forensic lab, Dr. Salunkhe is seen talking to ACP sir, Daya sir, Purvi mam and Dushyant. With Purvi mam's help, he demonstrates that Gajra was shot on her right shoulder implying that the shooter wasn't standing in front of her, but rather at least 50 feet behind her, thus implying Vipul isn't the killer. ACP sir implies Vipul fled out of fear of the mob chasing him, and says they need to find him.
Scene 8
Vipul arrives at a shopping complex, submits his suitcase of cash at the entrance and takes the corresponding token. He places this token in a shopping trolley as instructed and goes aside. After a while, a girl comes and retrieves the token. They see each other and Vipul is shocked to see she's none other than his daughter Roshini. He calls out to her, but Roshini tensely proceeds to take the bag from the counter and leaves before he can catch up. He wonders if Roshini was indeed kidnapped or orchestrated her own abduction.
Scene 9
Daya sir, Kavin and others visit Roshini's call centre. The manager Mayur says no such girl works there, and other employees don't recognize her photo either. Daya sir says either Roshini or her family lied about her working there. Kavin gets information that Vipul's phone has been located at Shyamnagar, and they proceed to go there.
Scene 10
Vipul enters a dance bar and sees Roshini dressed as a waitress there. She nervously points at Mangesh sitting at a table there and vanishes into the crowd. Vipul draws his gun and, despite Mangesh protesting that they're friends, shoots him dead. Daya sir and Kavin arrive there only to find Mangesh dead and Vipul gone. The bar staff explains what happened, and how the two seemed to be friends. Kavin finds out that Vipul escaped from the back door. The staff also says Roshini is a waitress named Sangeeta, who's also left. Daya sir and Kavin wonder why a rich girl like her was working there, and how come she was there when she was supposed to be kidnapped. The staff also says Sangeeta used to live in Gajra's chawl, though they don't recognize Gajra. Daya sir says there's surely some connection between Gajra and Roshini.
Scene 11
The locals at Gajra's chawl recognize Roshini as Gajra's relative who was new to Mumbai and had come to live with her a few days ago. Freddy sir says the kidnapper must've kept Roshini at Gajra's place. Pankaj says Gajra and Mangesh must've been working together in the abduction. Abhijeet sir wonders why Mangesh would ask Vipul to shoot him at the docks, and Freddy sir points out Vipul and Roshini haven't gotten home despite both Mangesh and Gajra being dead. Abhijeet sir says Roshini's presence at the bar is highly suspicious, and asks Freddy sir to find details about Vipul and Mangesh.
Scene 12
We see Roshini being held hostage by the unknown kidnapper and several accomplices in an unused warehouse. Vipul is brought there and has an emotional reunion with his daughter. Vipul is enraged to see who the kidnapper is.
Scene 13
In the bureau, Daya sir tells ACP sir that Roshini is Kiran's stepdaughter. Purvi mam arrives with Aradhana, Mangesh's wife. ACP sir informs her that in the 15 years Mangesh spent in jail, someone used to deposit 50,0000 rupees in his bank account every year. Aradhana confesses Mangesh had a partner in crime whose name he had not taken in court, and in exchange that person used to give this money. ACP sir demands for this person's name.
Scene 14
Abhijeet sir and others arrive at Vipul's house to arrest Kiran, saying she kidnapped Roshini to avenge her father whom Vipul and Mangesh had murdered 15 years ago. Kiran is shocked to know this and insists she knows nothing. Abhijeet sir says they'll prove the truth about her in two hours, and they exit the house to wait outside in the car. Eventually an unseen person emerges from the house, gets into the car and drives off. The cops quietly follow from behind. They discuss that getting her own daughter kidnapped would be madness on Kiran's part, and hope Roshini isn't harmed. The person eventually drives in front of the warehouse.
Scene 15
Inside the warehouse, the kidnapper taunts Roshini and Vipul as he prepares to murder them. He says he knows Vipul murders his father, and is doing this for revenge. Before he can shoot, the CID team arrives and defeats all the goons in battle. The kidnapper turns out to be Kiran's brother, Hiten. He confesses he did it all desiring vengeance, because Vipul not only murdered his father but turned Kiran into a drug addict so that he could usurp her property. Roshini and Kiran condemn both of them. Hiten says he kept Roshini in the dark for her comfort and decided to take everything into his own hands. He had hired Gajra for Roshini's safekeeping, but Roshini paid her and requested her to stop Vipul from committing the murder, and Hiten killed her before she could stop Vipul. Abhijeet sir says he and Vipul will likely be hanged for their crimes.
