Another youngster who will be added to the team
is Maninder Singh of 26/11 fame. Says producer-
director BP Singh, "There were two reasons why
we wanted to expand the team. CID has been on
air for 16 years and we didn't want it to get
stagnated. Also, we had to keep pace with the
modern times in this highly competitive scenario.
We had to bring in a lot of action, which is why
younger guys have been brought in.

Also, we cannot expect ACP Pradyuman to do
stunts at his age. The entry of Gaurav is action-
oriented with him trying to rescue a hijacked
BEST bus. Also, Gaurav has a good female
following and that will only help." The serial is
also going thrice a week neccessitating the
expansion of team.

I watch CID for an thrilling investigation Singh sir, stunts are just a cherry on top of ice cream. Please fix your ice cream properly.

What is the point of adding a battalion to the show yaar? I simply don't understand what's going on their mind... Personally even I like Gaurav Chopra... I also like Ajay Devgan but even if he enters CID my prime focus would be on Trio and not Ajay... Like Mini said we need some good stories... My Duo is capable enough to take care of the rest... Coming to trip weeklies... Tri weekly never helped rather it made the scenario worse... Past says it... I hope Singh sir surprises us this time... However chances are minimal...
