he did not think that CID going to be Stagnant from almost 16 Years as still it Categorize in CRIME THRILLER genre and now in Couple of Weeks, He understands Very well to include YOUNGSTERS, the People having FEMALE FOLLOWING and ACTION Stunts changed it from Stagnant to Flowing River...

the Thriller which only consists of hardly 2 Slaps, One Door Break and 2 or 3 Direct Bullet Shorts from Officer stand it here from 16 years...

the Serial only watching with the Huge TRP of TRIO where FW depended to bring back DAYA Sir from KKK, SHIVAJII Sir when He was about to move Out during GARHAN Series and when ADI Sir was busying in His Movies and Now HE thought that the NEW OFFICER who got FEMALE FOLLOWING would Be the Sign of CID TRP Raising...

it Mean the Names which are associated with CID like SHIVAJII, ADITYA, DAYA, DANESH, NARENDRA, VIKAS, ANUP Sir's and so on only known by Each one and have NO FEMALE Following so why Mr. SINGH keeps them in CID from Long 16 years, giving those UNKNOWN FACES a Huge Amount to Work on His MASTERPIECE...

HE is Waiting from Long 16 Years for that Huge FEMALE Following GUY who comes and raise the TRP and Mr. SINGH tuned to be Multimillionaire in Few Weeks...

Hope Now FANTASTIC FIVESOME think Seriously about that and takes Some Good Decision and accepted now that Mr. B P Singh used them like those Employees who after Accepting of Product Tenders tuned like a KORA KAGAZ... huh...😡😡

Oh acc. to FB Gaurav sir will be shown flirting with girls... Is it the duty of a cop? Are they planning to pair Gaurav and Purvi? What are you upto FW? This show is bound to lose its charm...since B.P. SIR himself has changed.

Hey guys :) I totally understand you guys are frustrated, and fair enough! new entries always stir up such concerns for any set of fans. The one thing you guys can't seem to let go is what has been said about Gaurav's female fan following😆☺️ and if that was the only reason he was brought on board. While I could sit here and defend him all I want, tell you guys that he is a brilliant actor and everything else that i love about him; I won't do that because i know Gaurav's acting will speak for itself and come tomorrow this time, I know he'd have won hearts of every single one of you here.

I don't know who BP Sir is, but if he mentioned Gaurav's female fan following then yes for some of you it could imply that the rest dont have that following; but then again I'm sure they each have their own fan following and if Gaurav Khanna fans can add to the fan base of the show then I guess that could only be a good thing for the show. Also if Gaurav has come on board now, I'm sure his character will have quite some interaction with your existing favourites, and maybe somewhere down the line you will enjoy and appreciate his interaction and the relationships he shares with your respective favourite and the rest of the characters on the show.

Agree GD :-) n m with you (y) & TRIO whom singh sir used to refer as GEMS of his show ,and the reason for high TRP , is now depending upon the new entries for more TRP , how can he think of such things :-(

I don't know about others, but I don't have a problem with Gaurav's entry. FW wants to bring one new actor in go ahead. I have huge issues with the way this article is worded though and especially with the things BP sir has said! He makes it sound like the trio are old and outdated and that they can no longer keep people watching CID. He makes it sound like CID is only about action and not about investigation. He thinks that making CID into any regular daily soap will help the TRPs.

And that angers me. It's like saying that 16 years of hard work and going along with the same show is a small feat. Look at the television history. No one...I repeat no one has ever stood by a show for 16 years and still continues to do so! In CID itself, apart from the fivesome no one has stayed for longer than a couple of years. Everyone moves on yet the five actors stay there always. What does that tell you BP sir? That if you didn't have these 5 professional, amazing, great, loving, honest, down-to-earth actors CID would probably have only run for a couple of years! Yet you put them down as if they are nothing. As if their hard work is nothing. As if their sticking to a show for 16 years is nothing. If they wanted they could have moved on long back. Maybe at the same time as Ashwini Kalsekar moved on. The fact that they stuck to this show proves something.

Another thing that angers me is the way he says "We cannot expect ACP Pradyuman to do stunts at his age". Excuse me?!! What about Aakhri Chunuati? I don't remember you saying the same thing at that time. Or Grahan series? Who was running after Satam sir trying to stop him from leaving?!!

And then the way he says "Also, Gaurav has a good female following and that will only help". Is he trying to say that the only reason they're bringing Gaurav in is because of the fan following? Is that saying that he isn't a good actor or won't look good as a cop?

Sorry for the ranting, but I've had enough of this. I can't sit back quietly while FW basically decides to revamp CID. FW while you're at it why not just give the fivesome the walking papers. I'll be more than happy to leave the show. The only reason I stick to this show is for them. Yes I like the other actors and characters, but if I sit through an OTT or YSPT episode it's for these 5. Not anyone else. And nothing will ever change this.

FW, BP sir, or whoever...if you take fans' opinions into account then take the following opinions from me:

Don't bring in 10 officers. If you are then give the current team the walking papers and let the 10 new officers handle everything.
Don't say that you're bringing in an actor just for his/her following or because you can't expect someone to do stunts at their "age". Because that isn't true. You're only doing it to increase TRPs and continue having your show run.
Stop giving such interviews which just make current fans feel like crap for following a show for so long.

I'm sorry in advance if I hurt any fan group or person with my post, but I had to get my anger out.

I see where you're coming from about the rest of it; however with respect to what was said about GK's fan following I'd actually have to disagree. I dont think that's what he meant when he said Gaurav has a female following, because if that was the case, as a GK fan even I'd have to be offended that Gaurav's acting is not the reason why he is here; but I don't see it that way at all. I just think what was meant to be said here is that Gaurav's acting is a given; he has what it takes to be a good actor; and it further just adds up and helps that he has a large female following and that is turn may also be something that works in favour of the show😃
