I don't think so. More than one actor can be nominated from a show. Category shouldn't matter.

I know they must be happy but I was talking about this forum.

It's a very rare occasion when CID actors are nominated in such awards. This time it happened and so I was depressed on the fact that nobody was in a happy mood 😊

I agree, Aditya Sir deserves far more public exposure than he currently has. Whenever the pics of some function, event etc are posted, we feel glad to see Daya sir at the same time we search for Abhijeet in the frame. We feel sad if he is absent.
But I feel that in award functions (at least tele serial award functions) ''Best Actor Award'' is meant for the most sought after guy (even if his acting is pathetic). Looking in the actress's eyes for hours while some romantic background score is played, getting drenched and just standing foolishly staring is definitely not acting. But these people get the award and that too for many succesive years!!!! Its all a game of popularity. So I dont feel bad even if the real ''actors'' dont get nominated.
Now coming to CID, they might be giving Daya sir's name because they feel he is more popular (may be because of his Darwaza todo stuff). So they might be feeling that he has more probability of winning awards. And they want their show to be in lime light by winning awards in various categories. I would vote for him because it is related to CID, and it's always great to see your favourite actor, favourite show getting popularity.
I am not so serious about awards, bust I seriously feel about public exposure given to Adi sir. I am an ardent Daya fan but equally I am an ardent Duo fan. Whenever I watch Daya sir's interview, I feel ''How great it would've been if Adi sir was also there.'' Yes I feel he should be seen more in public, in promotional events, in talk shows. There may be some of his personal commitment due to which he might not be coming on such platforms. Because Daya sir is busy with CID only whereas Adi sir has many other projects apart from CID. But he should try n make more appearance in public events.
