I loved the cinematography in the old ages, it was very very appealing and not so superficial nowadays. Maybe quality wasn't that good, but there was that surreal touch to it. Anyways, coming to the case, loved to see Abhijit Sir's glowing smile early up in the episode 😃 There not much fanfare about it as well, like they have with the blaring background music. Anyways, Sir immediately got into action with astute observation of Babulal standing downstairs. Then I love the way he courageous goes down and takes on Babulal 👏 The first time I watched that I got scared 😆 Didn't think he'd creep up from behind 😆 Abhijit Sir's expression when he said 'Upar chal' was wow! 👏 Funny thing actually, when I saw the person getting fired etc., it reminded me of Stolen Gun for some reason, gave me something to smile about. The case got more and more interesting as it progressed, with the climax being the scenes in that shopping complex. Also, what I liked about such cases is that they let the new actor make an impression on the audience first, then give him more coverage and never let anyone apart, even Fredericks and Sudhakar, even though they didn't say much, they were always in the frame. Wish we had such brilliant thinking nowadays The story's falling action was all too exciting, I was literally glued to the computer'especially the part where Abhijit Sir decides to take Babulal's place. It was a nailbiting finish indeed. Daya Sir's slap at the end was 👏 followed by the confession. Cases like these, have such an exciting approach: the police tries to make the criminal think his plan is going smoothly, and then, bamm! At the last minute, he is caught! Really excellent! 👏 And I think more than anything, even though this was Abhijit Sir's first case, they gave more importance to the combined efforts of the team rather than just that particular individual himself! I liked that part about the case too!

Coming to Red Rain, IDK , no offense, but never really liked the case that much. It was an average case at most. Not going into much details, the murder method was quite unique but still, IDK, I felt there was something missing 😕 Also, there was a rather sinister feelings throughout the episode. Anyhow, I liked how Dr. Wagle collected parts of fingerprints and assimilated them into one, that was ingenious👏 The second part got more interesting, I feel, with the jaw in the factory and finally uncovering of the culprit. Really loved his expressions👏 Special mention to him! So yeah, all in all, pretty average case

@shagnika di: thanks for the beautifully written WU👏

I havnt seen red rain recently, will watch it tonight if possible !

As far as Reluctant Killer is considered, Debo's review covers everything !! I agree with him a lot. The episode had a suspense maintained till the end.. they never focussed on Abhijeet ONLY. Yet they made sure that the audience get used to him in his second episode itself !! 👏 I dont how would I have reacted if i had seen the episode in those days.. The entry of Abhijeet as a senior officer might not have been a problem because he had come to replace someone, not just came all of a sudden, unlike thse days !

Reluctant killer is a must watch

great to see how a person who was a criminal earlier wants to reform. In the process he gets entangled in a crime conspirecy. How he chooses not to commit the crime and go to the police is awatching scene

He was poor and jobless. He was demeaned for being a criminal. There cane an oppurtunity to commit another crime and earn some money

It was beautiful to see how this person chooses not to do that and goes to the police
He is not even sure they will believe him

He stands outside the building mustering coiurage to go in. But his courage fails him and he tries to run

That is when Abhijeet sees him, brings him up , hears his story and chooses to believe him

Wonderful
