Finished watching Reluctant Killer !!! I started of my day with the case 😆 ...well this was Abhijeet's first case officially as a CID cop !! I remember watching this case many times yet I wouldn't mind watching it again !!!
First case of the cop Abhijeet ... and he in disguise ... a treat for CIDians ain't it ?? 😛 ...
I love the starting ... the smile on Abhijeet's face when he is asking ACP sir whether he's sure that it's a right decision to take him back into the team ... that smile won my heart 😊 ... 12 years back too ... and even now ... the scene where Abhijeet tells that there's a guy who's constantly staring at the CID building ... ACP sir looks really handsome and suave ... and I totally love the close up shot on Abhijeet's face there !!!
ACP sir telling ABhijeet that a cop's job is just like swimming ... I love a certain casual tone that ACP sir has there ... He's not shouting .. just freely interacting with his junior ... that was my ACP sir .. I do miss that calmness in him !!!
In the second scene itself where the guy tells about his problem to Abhijeet ... one must see the way Daya and Abhijeet stand beside each other ... one then didn't know that they would set an example for what friendship is ... they seemed as if they had been working since a long time ... I never liked it much when Daya stood near Jayant 😆 ...
Abhijeet didn't seem like a newcomer ... I used to miss Viren badly ... and Jayant was never able to match Viren's level ... I was confused if this man also would ... now after years when I see this case again ... I realise that how well Abhijeet has become a part of the team ...and even in Reluctant Killer .. one wouldn't feel that he's a new guy in the team ..,.. he seemed so comfortable and experienced ...
I love Daya sir's stance over there ... standing with folded arms and Abhijeet with his hands near the pockets 😆 ... they still have this habit 😳 ... and Daya calling Abhijeet as 'sir' ... now it does seem odd ... then too it felt a bit odd .. thinking that this guy had come as a replacement for Viren ...
Now if one sees ... one would say ... Achcha kiya Viren was out of CID 😆 warna wonder if Abhijeet aatha ... and we wouldn't have got to see this school of talent ... yeah that's what Adi sir is !!!
The case .. simple ... nice... interesting ... has all the elements that make it a memorable one !!! Perfect team distribution ... everyone portraying their parts perfectly ... team interaction etc etc ..
if one decides what CID is based on the case these days ... I would tell them to watch this one !!! an example of a nice story,screenplay,direction,BG music is good ... Cop's dresses are perfect too 😆 ... in simple a perfect CID story package !!!
